Disconnection Penalty
This obviously needs to be removed i think if people dont wanna deal with killers being toxic or holding the game hostage they should have the freedom to disconnect. Same with technical difficulties with internet disconnection, or hackers, or etc. I feel like we pay the money to play the game, so we shouldn't have to wait if something is going wrong with the internet or toxic killers holding the game hostage an being obnoxious. I feel like it's perfectly reasonable if they don't want to play that match they shouldn't have to feel forced into doing so. It needs to be a final decision of course people are gonna cry over it but just do it save most of us the trouble.

the people who are saying "No" are most likely the toxic killer mains who hold the game hostage.

Screeching TOXIC KILLER MAINS from the rooftop.
How's a killer hold a game hostage, exactly?
2 -
Lol, use your imagination, it is a very common and an easiest thing to do.

Yeah, no. Not just no, but hell no. Every single time the penalty has been suspended, the rate of DCs has spiked, and the game became a mess. For everyone.
And it is exceptionally difficult for a killer to hold anyone or anything hostage unless they are hacking, ad statistically, that's really not an issue unless you are a targeted streamer.
I'll turn your "kILler MaINz" accusation around and say it is far more likely that the only ones calling for the penalty to be removed are survs who think it is their right to DC without consequence anytime the littlest thing doesn't go their way.
People aren't entitled to hop around shopping for matches at the expense of others, sorry.

If you don’t want to play a match out regardless of what parts of the game you might face, don’t queue up. Ragequitting is pathetic and ruins the game for others.

I have played a great deal of dead by daylight and in my experience the game progresses no matter what. I cannot think of a scenario where a killer can stall out a game. I suspect you can't either, considering how vague this post is.

I'm assuming they are referring to slugging for the bleedout/camping (Toxic) and defending a 3-gen (holding the game hostage)
2 -
Yeah slugging has a four minute time limit and defending their objective doesn't really count as holding anything hostage. Doesn't track.

Just one thing: If anyone thinks the solo queue experience is bad today, look for videos and streams from BEFORE the penalty was added. I assure you, it was much worse. Stuff like survivor's ragequittting on first down happened even more often.
So no. Disconection penalty came to stay and the game was worse without it.

A killer could repeatidly initiate a Mori animation then he could cancel it shortly. He could do this again & again, during the 4 minutes to bleed out the survivor to death. This kind of game hostage existed previously.
I'm sure there is many other kind of game's hostages if you have enough malevolence in you...

People who intentionally disconnect should be banned for a month.

The game health is not the problem when people DC against a Freddy that got them down within 15 seconds.
So: No
If a single person just doesnt feel like going against nurses, this is not justifying ruining the game for 3-4 other people

"I feel like we pay the money to play the game, so we shouldn't have to wait..."
So uh... did the other people in the match who you selfishly bailed on not pay for the game?
It's a multiplayer game, if you don't want to have to cooperate with others (and cope with things not going your way) then go play The Sims or something...
