how do i see through corn
HOW?! I know there has to be some filters or whatever people use for corn maps, there is just no way there are so many huntresses out there who can just corn snipe for days. I dont care if you need to tell me a custom nvidia filter. I am so done trying to hit good survivors in corn

So you want to cheat?
Just practice and follow scratch marks.

sorry but have you tried doing m1 huntress? also as far as i know nvidia isnt cheating hence why everyone uses it

I have played as Huntress and considering that filter isn’t readily available across all platforms I’d consider it an exploit.

I was wondering the opposite actually. How do killers see me in my yellow Jeff drip or basic Yoichi coat crouched with hands between thy legs. Witchcraft i tell ya
7 -
honestly its the colorblind it has to be XD

ah, they just may be it lmao

Cor(n) blimey!

I force AA through Nvidia control panel, helps a lot with hair and probably corn.

whats that? anti aliasing?
1 -
You don't. That's why it's called corn blindess.
But seriously I bet the huntresses either predict (by following scratchmarks most the time), or pay attention to the corn moving. Aka predict.

Yes

Unless you learn how to fire up one of those combines on the map, you don't see through the corn.
There's a reason many people hate Coldwind.

welp i dont see how anyones eyesight can be that good

what does it do?

Focus

It's easy, you download this sketchy file from "www.notafakesiteipromis.corn" and you'll see through the corn with ease! /s
Okay, jokes aside. I just look at one of the colours on their clothes, usually the brightest one because they are easier to track. I don't have perfect tracking but it makes it easier. Altho if they don't have a colour that is easy to keep track of, I'm doomed xd

I think you see better in corn on low settings grafics. You overall see better because less details and bit less dark areas.
0 -
Thats the best part, you don't
1 -
It's this simple.
4 -
i tried but i couldnt see deep enough it didnt change

Would have been better if you photoshopped Megs face on them.

with your eyes 👀

Predict, look at the corn moving or use aura reading perks. Aura reading is obviously the best.
As an aside, I find the cornfields to be far less problematic than the Swamp. The Swamp is hell.

Tell me you're a new player without telling me you're a new player, lol

With corn it's not about seeing but hearing because of the ...

Ears.

Fun fact all the survivors are in this image. Try find them :D

Devs have explicitly said filters are fine.

It's 100% possible to follow someone in corn. It's doing it job if you struggle however.
"Everyone uses it" Doesn't make it any less of a cheat in my eyes.
Any content creator I see with bright ass gameplay or weird filters, loses all rep for me. Play the game the way its intended.

ok first, autohaven is too dark. thats why i have increased brightness, but never the way those tourney players do. there is nothing fun about seeing everyone easily, but my brightness is only up slightly because of autohaven and that alone, i also use sharpness which changes nothing it just pops the textures out in a way I like. and huntress catching up to a survivor takes ages

tell me you got a complex without telling me you got a complex

swamp i just hate cuz of the dang objects, but i cant just see corn swaying from 30 meters away, for whatever reason i cant see the corn move after a certain distance if im not at an elevated height
1 -
Play survivor and attempt to lose people in corn, then play killer and try to not to lose the survivor in the corn. What you'll find is a good killer can see through corn and a bad one can't
1 -
As someone who plays alot of huntress on console your best bet is to forget about scratch marks and just watch the corn and try to make a prediction shot. I'm not saying it's easy it makes a difficult skill shot even harder but it is doable
0 -
well i guess im a bad killer because the corn is made like trash? my issue isnt finding people its throwing hatchets XD
0 -
i can but the issue is when they get too far i cant see it for whatever reason and i look at the tops

Then its time to leave that chase. If it's gotten to the point where you can't get a hit or even track them it's time to find a new victim.

Just a joke, jeez

Follow Scratchmarks. Focus to see any movement close by. If the survivor is injured, listen for grunts of pain, if not injured, listen for breathing and potential footsteps, and corn swaying is another key giveaway (corn sways a lot when a survivor is moving or sitting in a patch of corn).
