Wait, what? You want to play against bots all the time? What's the point?

I'm pretty sure they will implement a way of trying out different killers with bots to practice, not as a standalone single player mode. Like the bots in tutorial have negative IQ.

Not if you play to win, run 4 slowdowns and strong add ons, tunnel/camp etc...

permanent +100% bonus is saving the game right now, delete bonus and queues will go back to 10+ min, if bonus was off I would go back to playing killer only, solo Q is unrewarding, tedious, frustrating and many more things

If it weren't for the 100% bonus BP, I'd have uninstalled the game as I'm not going to sit in a ten-minute queue to play the winning side. SWF is the only method of reliably gaining victories as a survivor. The killer has to make multiple mistakes to lose against a solo squad.

Yeah, playing survivor is pretty awful right now unless you’re in a 4 team SwF group. I don’t mind the nerfs to Spine Chill and Dead Hard and the increased gen times, but there was no need for the speed nerf after being hit and the basic attack/pallet & gen break cooldown.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I also hate how challenges have become such a big focus for players. If you’re not being screwed over in a regular solo queue game, you’re being screwed over by people focused on completing challenges above all else.

How is that different than half the people in solo queue? I can tell you I'll be happy not to have to deal with the random people in this community ever again once bots go live. Friends and AI only.

This is big too. Challenges are alot of the time "throw game for bonus bp". Sabotage 12 hooks. Want that done this millenium? Better waste a bunch of time every game breaking pointless hooks or you'll be on this challenge a while. Just an example.

Just use Saboteur…without throwing that’s 3-4 games. If you throw you can use a chase build (because you will alert the killer a lot) and do a in a single trial.

I used a toolbox with the 8 charge part so I could break 4 per trial. Still a big waste of time.

The incentives are there because not enough players are playing survivor. Probably because yea nobody wants to with all the camping and tunneling. Killer mains are at a point now that most of them don't give a rat's behind about anyone but themselves. They forget this is a game vs real players, not bots. Now, it is not my job to make sure you have fun, that's the truth of the matter. But... if survivor players are not having fun, they are going to stop playing, and that right there is why the survivor side has a pretty much permanent +100% these days, because killer mains are all being selfish jerks.

I play both sides and so i try to play in a way that everyone can have fun, especially as killer. However, in doing so I am getting 4 survivors that are so used to being camped and tunneled, that... they play asssuming I am going to do that... and it's not therefore fun for me... It's a real catch 22 right now.

BHVR realizes this and they are trying to deincentivize camping and tunneling for the game's health, but there is only so much they can do as long as the DBD playerbase is selfish, and we are. We all are.

Simple math. 4 Survivors to every 1 Killer. Even if solo queue wasn't as bad as it is, the Survivor side would still get a BP bonus.

    My theory:

    SBMM: [🥔🥔🥔🥔] <—— Potatoe Pool. Our (Us:🐟) Pool ——> [🥔🥔🐟🥔🥔🐠🐡🦑🐬🐳🐋] <—— SWF’s, Blights, & Nurses at end

    ^Starting MMR^ ^Low/Mid - High MMR^

    650 - 1600 (Guesstimate) 1600 - 2800 (Guesstimate) [Very difficult to fall/drop out of: 15L’s? Nope.]

    I miss red ranks.

^This. Not having to deal with toxicity is the big one for me, but knowing that your teammates are guaranteed to be doing what they need to be doing will be a blessing. Obviously If you want blood points and shards then you'll have to play a live match, but if those don't concern you, then you can just have a chill time with bots.

I swear to god, the more I play this game as of late, the more I understand just why this game wants you to be playing survivor. Tonight I encountered the most sweatiest of matches that I have ever personally encountered as survivor.

First off, SBMM is a joke. We had killers obliterating us before a single generator was even completed. Why the hell we were being matched with them is beyond me. Secondly, 10 (TEN !!!) matches in a row and not a single escape. I think I'm done until Halloween. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I can not wait for the bots!

the game offers bloodpoint incentive for the side which requires more players for shorter lobby wait times. For example depending on the time of the day, I get Killer 100% BP incentive for my region. Other times it changes to survivor. It really depends what side people play more at any given time and the incentive is there to attract players to the other side for a bit more balanced lobbies.

Of course there is a higher chance to get 100% BP incentive for survivors overall, because for each killer we need 4 survivor players. Even if at a current time twice or 3 times as many survivors play than killers, it's still not enough, since you need 4 times as many for it to be even

It's not that bad. Do people like you really not realise that queue times for killers would be much longer if there were actually more killer players than there are survivor players? It's just that a 4:1 survivor/killer ratio isn't given at the moment, but pretty sure there are still more people playing survivor than killer.

Solo queue definitely needs help, but this is just exaggeration I feel.

I don't understand how someone can be this inept.

Oh yes, I'm sure the Survivor side would still get a bonus before the 6.1 patch when the situation was completely flip flopped where Killer queues were instant and Survivor queues were 5+ minutes depending on the time.

Let that sink in for a second before replying.
