How tf am i even supposed to solve pinhead box during hunt phase?

basically title. Am I supposed to stand still and be able to do the box when I'm getting harrassed by hooks every 0.7 seconds? It just boils down to pure luck and I have to pray to RNG gods that the hooks don't spawn and its so unbelievably aggravating

If you dodge his chains 3 times they stop spawning for like 20 seconds
