Hello, just to make sure... Who likes the map offerings? And even if someone do, why?

Why at least 1 person from lobby bringing the most annoying map offering both for killer and survivor?

Why do I need to bring a sacrificial ward every single match, just to make sure, the random decide for map?

Why we have such things as map offerings in the first place?

Personally, I really don't like the idea of "someone from the lobby" deciding the map, that I'm gonna play. I've seen some people was playing the same map 4 and 6 times in a row, just coz someone was bringing the same map offering, is that fun?

I mean, if it at least a good map, but no. Mostly, it's the most biggest maps with obnoxious loops and line of pallets and windows. (You know what maps I'm talking about)

Can you just remove those please? I don't see any problems with doing so, and I don't see any minuses, any differences by their removal.

Actually, I can tell myself, the map offerings are bringing the sweat and toxicity in the matches. Let "this stuff" to be only in custom lobbys, where 1 person decides the map, get them out from regular matches. Why are these still in the game? I don't understand the point of these, rather to make someone angry.

Map offerings are unhealthy and unfun. Especially, if it happenes 4 or 6 times in a row with the same offering.

I didn't read it but I will say, offerings are unbalanced for both sides because many maps are unbalanced and it would take years to fix them all one by one.

So lets just delete them, at least for near future until maps get better in the long run.

Tell BHVR to stop making map specific achievements then, like Outbreak Breakout, so I don't have to burn 46 RPD offerings in a row to try and get it and still come up short.

Totally agree. Map offerings need to go. And remove any challenges that are map specific so that people can stop using this lame excuse for playing horrible map offerings that send you to unbalanced maps.

I feel like the problem here is not the offerings themselves. The problem is map balance in general so getting rid of the offerings does absolutely nothing if the maps still aren't changed as well. It's a bandaid fix

I, for one, like indoor maps, because i am colorblind, and even with color filters, they are the maps where i see best. And yes, that is it worth for me to bring an offering as killer. I am still sad Hawkins Lab is gone.

My eye just twitched, when I read "46 RPD offerings"...

You're right, but the thing is... I'd rather let the random decide the map, rather than someone from the lobby. Waiting for maps balance is somewhat unreachable. It's gonna take a year or more.

At least for now, I think they should remove such offerings, they're not going to hurt the game at all.

Make map offerings work inverse: you have a drastically reduced change to be send to the burned offerings realm.

I mean that's a fair point. Random chance would be better than forcible hell.

Yeah not a fan of map offerings, especially when its one you don't like and you see it popup.. you think why god why, and just sigh to yourself.

Although, the bhvr random map selection is weird, there's sessions when i'll just have the same map so many times, tonight it was Midwich, which honestly I dislike.

I would love for the offerings to be eliminated but perhaps it would be more feasible to reduce the chances of going to the respective map, now only one offering is enough to go to a specific map considering that up to 5 map offerings can be launched (4 of survivors and 1 killer). So if an offering divided the chances in 20 or 25% of going to a map it would be more feasible, although the assassin's offering should have a higher percentage because 1 offering vs 4

If map offerings are not removed, the weights should at least be changed.

Survivor map offerings should have 1/4 the weight of killer map offerings. This would ensure that one side doesn't get 4 times the chance of their map being selected as the other.

    Dear BHVR, do not listen.

Map Offerings are a wonderful thing. I can go on the map I need to fullfill my archive-mission easily.

It has it's VERY specific uses. Like take scratchmirror mayers - and find yourself on mother's dwelling instead of Lery's. Or take mori sadako in springfield instead of the game or midwitch. Or take full sabo squad going for midwitch and finding themselves in saloon.

None of these things are inherently too OP (at least compared to playing nurse or going genrush build), but are not viable if played in the alternative map.

Also I like to throw out the map offering after my 6th random-selected game in azarov's resting place (like seriously there is something wrong with random selection).

Looks like OP got rolled by a team with a map offering. Let’s assume your argument is valid and players in lobby shouldn’t get to decide what map to go to. Then according to you it should be the game, right? Well I’m glad it isn’t cause thanks to my map offerings I’ve avoided going to RPD for the past few weeks while it’s on high rotation. This sounds like a classic case of git gud. I’ll take Ormond or Cowshed any day of the week over the pile of diodo that’s RPD. So no, bhvr shouldn’t get rid of map offerings just so you have a chance at winning.
