Thoughts on Terminus?

I just leveled up Spirit and got it to level 3, it looks okay but I am wondering if you ever got any value from it. Can you guys let me know about it?

Can you get up if you have adrenaline and killer terminus?

You can always pass from knocked to injured even if you are broken.

I think it always goes with No Way Out. But Bloodwarden on top of both is pretty interesting because it means the survivors have to open the gates for you to start getting rid of Terminus. Although at that point you are three perks in and Rancor is probably the better endgame choice to build around rather than Terminus

Terminus needs no way out or Blood warden to work. Otherwise you're just banking on the survivors being injured beforehand and them not having resetted prior to the last gen. It's actually very complementary with a lategame build but I digress

Kind of a memey full end game build perk and requires a very certain scenario to shine(multiple survivors alive and injured) and almost is mandatory to run No way out and/or blood warden. When it procs its super fun but I would never take it in a serious build.

It’s just for a endgame build. It also kind of counters 99 the gates and COH cause I had someone boon a totem and they couldn’t even heal it’s pretty good but it needs to used in a endgame build

I find Legion is a great candidate for this. BFF addon gives him permanent 4% in end game and his power helps keep survivors injured when the final gen pops.

It's more situational than No Way Out or even NOED, because it relies on having either a well-defended hook or a solid snowball underway once the gates pop to really get decent value. But it's got its uses, especially on certain killers. For instance - on Plague, it prevents everyone from cleansing after gens, and that can be lethal.

Is it good enough to run without other endgame perks? I'd say no. But in an endgame build, it counters 99ing and prevents wars of attrition (in a way that always favors the killer), so it definitely serves a purpose.

I used Terminus/No Way Out on Twins this weekend to great success. Having everyone injured before the last gen countered Adrenaline plays and allowed me to slug the survivors during the last phase.

Sometimes. Terminus / No Way Out / Remember Me / NOED. NOED is more for the speed than anything considering it got neutered last patch. It's insurance in case nobody is injured after the gens are done as well. You can swap NOED for Bloodwarden, though that's a long shot. They get a gate open, you lose everything else and all you have left is Bloodwarden. Plus, they get the gate open, they are dipping cause they are going to smell "Endgame build, Blood warden" a mile away.

If you are shooting for a NWO endgame situation, Terminus can be weaker OR stronger than NOED. If you are planning on getting a hit and run thing going late game, everyone being injured is extremely powerful with Terminus, also good if you do not have anyone death hook. This is because they cannot heal, meaning safe rescues are not possible and there isn't a totem that can be destroyed to instantly weaken you.

However, I would say NOED is stronger if you reach endgame and have a couple of people on death hook. You can surprise with the NOED, and you also have the 5% extra movement speed to help end the chases faster.

NOED is also just better when you don't have NWO, Terminus really relies on extra EG time without people opening gates.

    Utterly amazing on Plague

Way too situational, especially on its own. Against a smart team, it simply guarantees survivors have to open the gates earlier than they’d like, and maybe secures one end game kill.

As an adrenaline abuser who tries to get max value out of it, I hate it.

Honestly, I think it's slept on.

Broken prevents you from going healthy (unless you are unhooked and gain broken due to second wind, in which adrenaline will heal you iirc) so yes you can go from dying to injured still with adrenaline

I got huge value countering Adrenaline with Terminus and one game it actually got me almost a 2K on Mother's Dwelling from what would have been a 0K. The Survivors couldn't just heal it away, they HAD to open the gates and play the game for 2 minutes just to be able to heal their health state back. They couldn't just go like "lol we'll 99 the gates! HAH, eat that!" and do the epic 99 gates play while they were all broken.

HOWEVER, in other games only 1 or 2 people would be affected by Terminus. Then they buffed Wesker's power hitbox so chases ended much earlier than ever, meaning I didn't even ever really need Terminus because I wouldn't reach endgame nearly as fast.

It's not crazy exciting, but on weaker Killers it's sometimes fun. Maybe Freddy Krueger could use it to bully Survivors into giving him Blood Warden?

either youre a killer that would get more value from noed or youre a killer that has better endgame options like nwo. maybe has some use in gimmick builds featuring all endgame perks on a special attack killer like blight.

I feel like most of the time, you kinda need to combine it with NWO to really get maximum potential.

But it is certainly not a bad pick in endgame builds.

It can be strong. Forces survivors to open an exit if they want to heal up and get the last guy off hook.

That and maybe Blood Warden just to bully Survivors into panicking into opening gates. Endgame builds carry massive risk however. If you're good at finding Endgame Survivors, great but often the risk is really not worth it.

Finally I've got my answer, thank you, kind sir. Everyone kept saying that terminus counters adrenaline, almost the exact same words, but no one answered my question.

I think they didn’t notice that you said “get up” instead of “recover from the dying state”

Its wish.com noed. It's annoying to go against, but not strong outside of a full endgame build. NWO/Remember Me are valid picks, but I think the real value comes from forcing Blood Warden.

It's pretty mediocre, however, as someone else said, when used with No Way Out it has the potential to really snowball and end game. I was once getting my ass-kicked when playing Dredge and I used Terminus (along with Dredge's addon which triggers Nightfall in the end-game) and managed to turn a 4-man escape into a 2k as they were all too hesitant to be altruistic as they couldn't heal. Outside of that, I've never had any major value out of it that I can think of. Still a decent perk and worth prestiging Wesker to get the teachable, it's just very situational.

I can't speak with any firsthand experience but I imagine you can go from Dying to Injured but not Injured to Healthy.

Its a really good perk, especially in an endgame-build.
