It's the changes they made after the PTB, whatever they did massively screwed them up mine always get stuck on objects or just simply walk into a wall and stay there forever.
But they're so very easy to break as survivor, I can legit get them stuck by myself on objects. I would upload a clip showing it but forums dont allow video uploads

Their game literally broke when they tried to put in 3 zombies.
Just think about how many zombie games there are out there. Or even just how many games there are with ambulatory enemies who move towards players.
Can you fathom a single other game that would struggle to have TWO enemies moving around? It's pretty wild.

im still confused why didn't they rework their code with Project W release

Do you think they have anyone on staff who CAN?

Gta sa which was in released in 2004 has been coding for the NPCS than the zombies, hell just offer a bit of money to the community and they will make better zombies xd
and im sure they have one since they coded survivors to go to a dead zone and bag like there is no tomorrow

The pathing in the tutorial seemed ok from what I remember - I wonder why the zombies don’t just use a speed adjusted version of that. At least my little buddies still point me in survivor’s direction, even if they’ll never get there themselves. It’s ok little zombie, maybe next time.

They claimed that putting three zombies into the game caused the whole thing to crash constantly. Yet their tutorial has four survivors running around.
The explanation, I think, is that the four survivors are running around on one map and one map only. They don't have reactive AI scripts, they have a default movement pattern from A to B to C. Generators don't move, so they don't have to adjust where they're going on the fly. If they're being chased, run to nearest loop. If not, run to nearest gen. Far easier and dumber than zombies trying to track the moving target that is every survivor. Ironically, the zombies would be way better if they just went to unfinished generators and patrolled around them instead of trying to hunt down survivors at 0.001 m/s
We'll see if they actually get more elaborate script AI working down the line for Bot Games, but for the time being? Doesn't look like any actual hope for Nemmy is on the horizon.
