Referring back to GBK's anniversary stream recap, that would line up with the Halloween date they gave for that.

It's likely the mori rework. In the anniversary stream they said it would be Halloween 2022, so i think that the mori rework has been delayed but they are going to give a preview of it in the dev update.
Custom game bots are winter 2022 so they are expected in chapter 26.

Yeah I doubt it'll be bots, that's stated for the final update of the year 2022. Maybe we'll finally get the graphical options we were promised in 2019.

I think there's a very high chance it'll be the mori rework, since that's supposed to be around now.
Could always be more things alongside that though, I'm pretty hype to see the entirety of the update.

My guess is that they are gonna try to make an experimental tab for ptbs, similarly to Overwatch’s experimental game mode but I am not 100% sure on how Overwatch’s experimental build works but hey I can dream

My guess is multiple tests, or they are specifically testing things that won’t be in the mid chapter.

There's really only two things left on their 2022 roadmap to finish - bots in custom matches and automatic moris. So it's probably one of those two things. I'm hoping for bots because I'd like to try them out but I'd be happy with the moris too. 🙂

Don’t insult the bots. At least they don’t ragequit like entitled babies. If they got stuck on a tree, they would be more useful than some of our player base.

Hopefully they'll fix the cheater/hacker issues first. Since they promised us this last year and never truly delivered because it's still happening and all we're told is to record video of what happened and send in a ticket, which I have yet to find another game that does this with hacker issues.

Maybe the Devs finally realized, with all the complaining, that solo queue needs help and are finally going to release the action icons along with a text wheel and improved matchmaking 🫣.
Oh, and a Bush cosmetic for Claudette.

But maybe they also noticed that solo queue definitely needs help earlier than 2023 and they did some QoL changes for solo queue, which were actually only planned for 2023 earlier and want to test them now in a PTB? Actually solo queue should be the highest priority for BHVR.

It's going to be basekit Kindred with killer aura, basekit Bond, basekit Decisive Strike every hook, and basekit Wake Up so survivors can stack gen rush and stealth perks

It's most likely similar to the new wiggle system, you know how all platforms got the ability to opt into testing that feature?
I'm assuming it's like that but on a grander scale, so I'd assume some big tests everyone can get in on. Maybe some new mmr changes, perks, or something

They are likely not talking about Bots, Mori system or soloq action indicators as those would still not be different to their usual PTBs. Such features were introduced in PTBs before..
though hopefully it still brings some soloq improvements!

Actually I think maybe what they meant by "a little different" is they're not showing it off on the Tuesday a few weeks after the last release. Not releasing it on a Tuesday is unusual for them.

They said "feature", i don't think it will be an exact rework.
Though i would like a mori rework even tho am playing survivor mostly, Perhaps don't make it an offering and tie it instead to a condition like "Hook all 4 survivors at least once" then mori is unlocked.
This could motivate killers to pressure, less tunneling/camping and a good "fear" factor that's not very oppressive. And it does have a counterplay if survivors are mindful and delay it as long as possible.
I really hope they add some sort of social network in-game, like clubs/guilds for killers & Survivors in which they can chat, discuss strats or even group up in SWF with rewards/challenges.

i do think it will be sometbkng on the technical side. Maybe for other platforms? Maybe a feature that’s more technical (REPORTING SYSTEM REWORKED? Let me dream)? Idk.

So, this postponed PTB for September 27 or 28 show us mid chapter will release on October 18th, New rift October 19th and Halloween event starts on october 20th

You will be instantly mori as soon as you are downed. No choice for the killer to hook you or take you to hatch.

Does anyone remember the last 2 satisfaction surveys of them asking about matchmaking and "thumbs up" "thumbs down" players and possibly using that in their algorithms? Maybe it's something like that? I don't remember exactly how it was phrased in the survey.

I don't understand what is supposed to happen if the survivor is knocked to the ground and the killer isn't next to them. When happens if a survivor is knocked to the ground by deep wounds? By a honing stone trapper trap? By a trickster knife?

Pretty sure it was never on the roadmap. They talked about soloq improvements in a dev update (I think January) but never confirmed that it would be those action symbols -that was just an example of what could come- nor did they ever tell us when to expect this. In the anniversary stream it was completely left out and thus never put on the roadmap.
they did push something from the roadmap back to early 2023 - iirc it was the mechanic for being able to actually do stuff like activating challenges or going to the store while you are queueing for a game.

They just said. Apparently if all survivors are in some way incapacitated or dead, the last survivor downed will instantly be Moried and the other survivors will be sacrificed. Game over. The ability to pick yourself up from the slugged state after 45 seconds will be basekit. So the killer can slug, but not for more than 45 seconds.
