We NEED Change...
A bunch of Fog Whisperers have been coming out about their awful experiences with the game due to the lack of protection people have against different forms of cheating and stream sniping. As much as I really hate touching on the subject, I feel as if BHVR is getting closer and closer to having their back against the wall. But we never really see anything or hear of anything being done about this.
Something needs to be done.
For many content creators, the game is borderline unplayable. And even for many casual players unfortunate enough to get put onto a hit-list even if they dont create content or are large on a content creations platforms, people are still getting negatively affected by this.
Ive tried my absolute hardest to really be positive about the situation, thinking that something is in the works, but frankly with how little information we get, it feels demotivating to play the game. It feels like my time is worthless if my time, energy, and skill put into the game is meaningless when people can easily cheat; this is further made worse when a lot of the time people are subtle about it, which only leads to constant paranoia.
I cant tell if people are cheating anymore, I cant tell if that person who just outplayed me is subtle cheating or not anymore, I cant tell if something is not what it seems because people have been getting better and better at getting away with this stuff and hiding it. But Im stuck in a constant cycle of questioning everything, running gymnastics in my brain and constantly re-watching clips over and over and over trying to see the tiniest of things in hopes that I can find a credible thing to report despite knowing it's damn-near worthless.
Im just tired. And again, something needs to be done. BHVR, please, just do something, listen to your community, I beg of you.

A lot of posts have already been made about cheating, we know about this issue already. Unless there's hard video evidence, there's nothing they can do.

Fine, then a lot of people will stop playing this game. Sorry but it's not even funny anymore. To get another killer into game or getting subtle cheaters. It's BHVR job to maintain their game, not our job to spend half of the day just recording, writing, uploading, etc... every cheater. It's not even possible anymore. It's frustrating... Players are angry, I am too already.

You literally have DbD's largest content creators and streamers being held hostage in front of thousands/millions of people.
They need a better anti-cheat and more protection for content creators against cheating, stream-sniping, etc. What they are have ingame is borderline useless and only causes more issues for everyone else (e.g. anonymous mode being used to hide profiles to make reporting useless, etc.). This is completely ignoring the fact that people on Console cannot report people at all since they cannot grab anyone's steam IDs for reporting, and reporting ingame provides no way of filing a proper report.
What they have in the game is horrible and is not excusable for how long this game has been worked on.

Nah, that's not only about content creators. In high elo and mid-range elo are having some of us 1/4-1/2 games with cheaters. That's just pure fact. It was nightmare at the start of the summer, then it calmed down and now you can again see them everywhere. It's annoying.

Just because we're angry and over it doesn't mean they're gonna do something about it, cheating has been complained about since this game released. Streamers cheat often and are they ever banned? No. Nothing will be done about it.

As I said, fine, then a lot of players will leave this game. It will be sad and I am not gonna probably find game like this soon but still more worthy than watching and experiencing this again and again.

I agree they need better a anti-cheat system and a better reporting system, but will they get one? No. They're happy the way they are just making money, if cheaters spend money on their game, they don't care.

Then that's your decision, I've only encountered a cheater maybe twice in my whole 4 years of playing this game, I guess some people are luckier than others.
