Downing a survivor with Victor= 5 seconds
Switching to Charlotte= 3 Seconds, so that’s 8 seconds after every down.
Time for survivor to pick themselves up off of the ground = 45 seconds, giving you 37 seconds to pick the survivor up, not factoring in teammates or medkits.
Now, let’s say the survivor has Unbreakable. That makes it take 22.5 seconds for them to pick themselves up, giving you a grand total of 14.5 seconds to pick up the survivor, not factoring in teammates or Medkits.

What do you mean downing with Victor? Wouldn't the timer start after he downs someone and switches to Charlotte? So the first 5 seconds doesn't apply? Not trying to be mean, I've just haven't seen Charlotte enough to know all her timings

The survivors are able to begin recovering the second they are downed. Therefore, the timer will start the second that Victor downs them and begins the atrocious 5 second cooldown.

So... Victor has to stand there for 5 seconds.... seems very unnecessary

I dont really play Twins so I'm not too upset about that, but tier 3 myers and Oni are now also dead which sucks

High MMR Twins aren't downing one person and going right for them. They're strong because they can quickly down multiple people. Something this change will make only available to the BEST OF THE BEST twins if even that.

I love how everyone is absolutely losing their minds over this. Twins has a less than 1% pick rate. Twins is getting reworked. Slugging is not fun for the other 3 people on the ground. 3 people lying on the ground not having fun trumps your need to ego your way to a 4k.
If it wasn't a regular occurrence, it wouldn't be getting changed. Killers needed a buff and got a pretty good one to their basekit. 45s is a long time. If they had unbreakable before they were getting up after 45s on their own or they were 1 tap on a heal.
I have been slugged many times, its boring. I tab out and watch a video on youtube or something. That's not engaging play.
If you weren't slugging before, this won't effect you at all.

Twins fundamentally HAVE to slug when they down a survivor with their power. The fact that people are writing this off as a non-issue because their pick rate is so low is a problem and it’s the same mindset the devs have toward them.

You misread their post. Its a flat 45 second duration from being downed. It doesn't let the recovery system fully complete until the 45 seconds are up.

This is incorrect. I've bolded the part you missed:
After being left on the ground for 45 seconds, Survivors will now gain the ability to pick themselves up without the need of any Perks. This time is affected by recovery speed effects.

Solution: Survivors downed by victor can't pick themselves up while victor is nearby

you know I just tried to find any proof of this and all i'm finding is nerfs that happened early this year lmao. I do remember seeing something that said they were going to be looked at soon but I cannot find it and this doesn't even mean they will get a rework. They may get number adjustments.

People in this thread complaining about a killer they don’t even play just to have something to complain about.
The devs already said Twins are being changed.
Come on, there are actual real balance issues in this game to talk about like Nurse, Prove Thyself, SWF still being able to stack the same perks, healthy hook grabs, Blight's broken addons, that new busted quick gen perk combo (don't know the english name), first hook camping/tunneling being the best 'strat' even though it is the least skillful 'strat', hackers, map issues on both sides.
Don't pretend to care about Twins just because your "side" got a "nerf."

Yeah this does suck for the 5 Twins players.
Twins will likely be changed. Until then.. people will continue not playing them. As for the few who do, I don't feel sympathy for people who go out of their way to play a terrible killer who has horrible, unfun design, personally.

I’m so sorry for caring about the health of a game I’ve sunk hundreds of hours into
EDIT: and this isn’t about “killer side getting nerfs”, it’s about a killer who’s already picked so little about to be borderline unplayable because of how they’ve basically been ignored by the devs.

They said that they’d be changed, but not what those changes would be. We have no idea if the devs will do anything to alleviate this, hopefully they will.

It’s not as bad for them because the game ends when all 4 survivors are on the ground I believe so Oni will probably be helped by that but otherwise nerfed a little
And while slugging is optional for Michael it’s more optional than it is for the other two
