The initial reasoning for the finisher mori is flawed

They wanted to implement this, at least in part, because moris currently feel "spiteful" towards the person it's used on. This doesn't make sense. Moris only activate when they're already on death hook, if the killer wanted to tunnel you they would do it regardless, all that changes is whether or not an animation plays. The only things moris circumvent are a few perks that have already been gutted or a save, both of which are situational and don't justify reworking the entire mechanic.

    why would they remove "spiteful" things its a game about serial killers. where the killer can be mean bully or the survivors can be the mean bully.


    It feels good to finally catch that T bagging clicking meg and devour hope or mori, or it feels good to t-bag and emote against the killer at the exit gates and escape in his face. When the other team disrepespects you like that u get angry and want revenge and thats why people love this game.

    Yeah the thinking on this is so odd.

    How is a mori spiteful outside of people who take the game too seriously and get upset when mori'd.

    The whole premise of the game is to avoid being brutally murdered by some monster, to get upset when said monster doesn't murder you in a polite and mindful manner is probably one of the silliest things I've ever heard.

    I feel like there's a push to water down the more intense elements of the game purely so lil Johnny doesn't get his feelings hurt.

    Maybe its time to split the player base, they can have...

    1. DBD horror for those who enjoy a visceral mature horror experience and can deal with the outcome of such.
    2. DBD light for those who struggle with anything more confronting than a pixar film.
