So what's really coming to 6.3.0 Mid-Chapter?
As the developers themselves said that the Mori/UB base kit isn't coming this mid-chapter. So what's really coming?
Can the devs tell if there will be another dev update or is this PTB just those changes?
I really expected to see some perks/ 'X killer' buffs, which is my favorite part of mid-chapters.

That will probably be announced next week just before the PTB. These experimental changes are just things they also wanted to test in the upcoming PTB.

There's a chance we might get a blog post tomorrow detailing the mid chapter changes. We had a multiday blog post for the midchapter with spirit, deathslinger, trapper, and wraith (?) changes.

More buffs to killers, obviously. Maybe they'll nerf reassurance and DH again, or make survivors only have 2 hook states. Sky's the limit, it seems.
Though the new slugging change is a good sign that they've changed this mentality. I genuinely hope it continues. It's nice that they're addressing things like slugging and bleedouts - all they need to do now is fix camping, tunneling, bloodlust and nurse/blight and the game might actually be in a great spot.

Well we still have custom matches versus bots on the 2022 roadmap, if we're lucky and that's basically done then that could be in the midchapter.
They are due to eventually do full balance passes on a couple of characters that were put off to make way for things in the pipeline for 2022 roadmap projects, so maybe they could squeeze one of those in? But I'm not necessarily expecting the character passes until 2023 since the devs did say they were taking a backseat to the roadmap items.
Beyond that, I'm not sure. 🤷♂️ They could be doing additional tweaks from the perk reworks to finetune things, but who knows?

Sadako and Twins I can see, but sadly I don't see Freddy being touched this time around. Dredge is more likely to be touched than Freddy since Dredge would be up this mid-chapter if it wasn't for Sadako getting pushed back.

We did get a blog post on the cheater stuff so I wasn't that off. Although my post wasn't a guarantee they would either.
PTB is next week since they posted earlier that the ptb was delayed this week. PTBs are generally on Tuesday so we'll likely know on Tuesday.
