R.I.P Devour Hope
Had to be killed off for a Final mori system that happens under certain circumstances.
Good job bhvr,no really. No one asked for this and yet,with that galaxy brain the balancing team has,you all effectively murdered ANOTHER 2 perks.

I'm so mad about this. There was no reason to suck the fun out of the mori perks. It serves no purpose at all.

It did add a little tension once you find out they have it. The extra strategy you have to add on the spot... those moments will be gone, the more I'm realizing these things the more I'll miss them. 😥

I'm so mad about the change. I loved getting moris with Devour Hope. They took all that made it really special and now it's not only weaker but also less satisfying.

Devour was the last good hex and now it's just dead. It was always high risk high reward but it's gone now.

Devour Hope is still just about as good as it was. Getting instant kills on first and second hooks takes as much time as doing moris on first and second downs. The only difference is the hooks are sometimes vulnerable to saves, but that's a minor thing.
Now if you're arguing that aesthetically it's "cool to watch multiple moris mid match", I agree that's fun and it'll be missed. But in practical terms balance wise Devour Hope isn't really changed much.

It’s not really any weaker, in some cases it’s actually a buff since it may be faster to hook someone than mori and you can use perks that trigger on hooks.
That said, I hate the change because it removes the fun aspect of the perk that made it unique and now it doesn’t feel any different than any other exposed perk. It’s just not special anymore.

That's the problem. Devour was the only time I ever got to use moris.

I just made a whole post about how its actually worse than this.
Also killing 4 people is funner than killing 1 person.

Devour Hope's nerf... Pointless and bad. I really hope they won't nerf it like that, i love to mori multiple survivors.

Ok well I don't know where your post is but I disagree, Devour Hope is basically not much changed in terms of how effective it is.
