I think Unbreakable + Flip-Flop will be strong...

...after the recovery rework, I mean.

Is Ash finally gonna get some more love?!

Really? I feel the strategy will largely be to just instant pick up or purposely slug without ever intending to pick up at all.

The combo's going to be the same as it is now. Great in certain situations, useless and a waste of two perk slots 90% of the time.

I think the newest 'play for kills' meta will be to just tunnel/camp two people out asap then slug the last two for the auto win.

Definitely not O/P but it'll be usable in a lot more situations if the killer does not insta pick up (ie moves to stop flashlight/pallet saves).

Probably best used in Sabo squads as a single Sabo/body block will hold more weight in game.

    Imo, of course.

It will have the opposite effect, all of these perks that work when you are on the ground, will get less value after this patch. Killers will be instantly picking up as much as possible, so these perks will not be given a chance to shine. The only place you will see value from ground perks will be in groups of friends who trail the killer.

Recovery with UB will be around 1 second faster than it is now, so in terms of how much wiggle progress you get, yes, it will be slightly better with that combo.

However, it will be worse than it is now without UB, and worse in general because killers won’t slug as much in the first place if they are not forced to.

Yeah, in solo this isn't gonna be a big deal at all. But a coordinated 4 person SWF gaming around it is gonna wreck some killers. Unbreakable, Flip-flop, power struggle, tenacity, sabo with a couple flashlights in play...it'll be miserable to face.

I think people will stop running unbreakable, killers won't slug anymore so you're using a perk that does nothing 9/10 games, and most likely devs will nerf UB / tenacity / flip flop after PTB

If you're in a SWF, there are far better perks to run than wasting two slots. Unbreakable will still be good, flip-flop will still be mostly useless.

It's one of those combos that sounds like it'll work and be fun in theory, but in practice rarely comes into play.

Agreed, I think you will see unbreakable even less than you currently see people running Borrowed time, which for me in solo games is about 10-20% of games.

But then you have those SWF's that do try and use the new stuff

    So I think it'll be Unbreakable/ Flip-Flop/ Power Struggle/ Breakout

Something like that with Sabo Toolboxes

    And for Killer it'll be Agitation/ Mad Grit/ Hangman's Trick/ PR

If Hooks is what it takes then why not (Partial Sarcasm)

    Not really.

If you want to use Unbreakable and Flip-Flop, you can do it now already. Nearly nobody does this, because it is a waste of 2 Perk Slots.

There will not be much change if Survivors can pick themselves up without a Perk. I expect more Unbreakables when it goes live, but since Killers will just not slug, it will not do anything.

It will definitely be interesting to see if UB is indeed used a lot and then abandoned as things evolve.

Unbreakeable alone will be insanely strong. I am happy about the basekit 45 seconds Unbreakeable, but the new buffed Unbreakeable will be a big problem if it goes live with those recovery speed numbers,

its gonna be pretty much required. You don't have time to 12 hook people if you can't slug. And now you can't slug. So the solution is obvious, you HAVE to basically eliminate someone as fast as possible.

There will probably be way more 1 Hook Wonders with Instadowns/DeadLocked/Lethal Pursuer given how the new win conditions work.

It will be no different to how it is now.

Right now, it takes about 22 seconds to fully recover with unbreak.

Which is the same as with the change. So flip flop being percentage based, it doesn't really make a difference.

So as usual, the only 2 killers who can actually compete at a high level get stronger, and every other killer gets weaker.

I thought when Power Struggle was first released, there would be a new strat for 4 man SWF's - where they would use Unbreakable, Power Struggle and Flip Flop. If the person in chase is in an unfavourable position, they'd simply die on the pallet with another survivor nearby. So the killer either picks them up and gets pallet saved, or tries to chase the other survivor away giving enough time for Power Struggle. Lose-lose situation.

Presuming the change comes as is and that Unbreakable has unlimited uses, maybe this will become an actual strategy in coordinated SWFs. Especially for dying on unsafe pallets where the survivor knows they are about to die anyway.

In fact only Unbreakable is needed for this strategy if the survivor nearby waiting for the pallet save is enough of a nuisance.
