BHVR is going a little too far
I understand BT base kit, but now you are giving community more base kit perks. You shouldn't really do it becouse in no time community will start asking for more, and BHVR being BHVR can't say no. If they dont stop we will soon have Kindred Basekit, Tenacity Basekit, Selfcare Basekit and worst of all probably ######### load of killer perk's basekit.
Soon you will have a problem of no killers, becouse everyone will leave due to game being too survivor sided. What are you going to do then? Probably buff killer to the point where survivors will leave, and then you will buff survivors so killers leave again Repeat
Also keep in mind that giving survivors basekit stuff like UB is a horrible idea just becouse camping and tunneling will SKY ROCKET.
Just say ,,No'' if someone asks for X perk basekit. It's not like they are going to leave the game just becouse of it.

thats why we need to get that stoopid idea out asap. i will certainly test how it is in the PTB as killer but i know alredy i will have a bad time. And i will play the exact bully build anyone is scared of just to understand how easy it is or if there is any counter. Ive been counting how much i slugg people, rn not even close to 45 seconds but bully squads dont have the tools yet.

Ub base kit is fine because of the fact that if all four are slugged or hooked/dead at once you auto win the game now with the finisher Mori, so how troll squads would take you to RPD and make you bleed them out in the Library can never happen again because they would auto die as soon as the last person standing gets slugged and I mean you get 45 secs to decide whether a full slug is worth it or you can just hook the survivor then slug if they're nearby , either way if they're all downed they die there's no more crawling to a dead hook zone while slugged and wiggling out everytime

The basekit version isn't really a problem
45 seconds is a long time, that's selfcare in the corner downtime to pick yourself up
The problem is unbreakable being grossly overbuffed. Either keep it at 35% or disable it when you pick yourself up once
There shouldn't be any perk in the game that saves you 22.5 seconds without jumping at least through a couple of hoops

Honestly Kindred basekit sans the killer aura read would unironically be a healthy change and self-care basekit would be the best buff that killers can get
I don't really like their choice of perk, but somethings really could do with being basekit and their effects reworked to help accessibility and solo queue

Keep in mind its just one survivor down. Other 2 (becouse usually at least one is chased) can do gens without even considering going to get him.
Also keep in mind that 1 second for killer is 4 seconds for survivor so you need to divide 45 by 4 which is ~11 seconds loss for survivors.
I think they could buff it to 1 minute so survivor can be downed and pick himself up only 4 times a game. Tho it can be changed if survivors heal him. Its just horrible idea and shouldn't even come near ,,Possible" list.

I cant down 4 survivors withing 45 seconds, if youre telling me adapt then you basicly say "get a pro at this game so you have a chance" and if that is the case i rather dont play at all. But the squads with their voice chat for sure can screw a killer with ease. Its not a balanced skill requirement.

It does make me wonder how far they'll go with basekit perks. Basekit DS next? Dead Hard? NOED for the killer side? Seems silly

Most of the time when a killer slugs someone it's because they have a chase right away.
If the killer can down that survivor in less the 45 seconds and get back to the slug survivors are suddenly heavilly on the backfoot. Letting the slug pick themself up is not always going to be a good idea.
Also no. I don't know who started this whole 1 killer second is 4 survivor seconds thing but it's one of the dumbest things people on this forum have come up with
A closer estimare would be to say that killers time is equal to the survivors that are on gens time.
Cause gens are what creates the time pressure for killers. If no survivors are on gens then the killer has infinite time
If the killer slugs a survivor while chasing another for 45 seconds then other 2 survivors can at maximun do twice as much gen progress or 90 seconds. Not 4 times as much
Also 45 seconds to pick yourself up stays 45 seconds. You don't magically divide it through the number of survivors for some reason

The entire reason for the change is to prevent people instantly slugging everyone and winning via Finishing Mori. You're not supposed to be able to down everyone in 45 seconds

But you can tunnel two survivors out then slug the other two survivors in 45s. You can end the game with a 4K in 6 hooks, 2 if you camp.
This is the 'adapting' killers will carry out. Have fun!

Tunneling is way more common than slugging currently, and needs either new perks or some other ways to counter. No one slugs because DS is terrible.
Hoping these changes are scrapped entirely.

One thing to remember too, though, is currently it takes a survivor 30 seconds to recover to within one tap of being revived, so after 30 seconds another survivor could be taking 10-15 seconds away from gens to revive the dying survivor. The new system takes 45 seconds base to revive but doesn’t require another survivor to do it. So time wise on gens the base 45 seconds is actually kind of a wash with the current system.
So while Unbreakable might be too fast at 23 seconds, the 45 seconds base might be ok. Regardless, though, if either of these times is too long all the devs need to do is increase one or both of them to the point where it becomes worthwhile for another survivor to get off a gen to revive the dying survivor rather than leave themselves shorthanded for an extended period. In prinicple the system should work fine, it’s just a matter of testing and maybe tweaking the times.

How about Deliverance? How boring is it for survivors to be left on the hook for a full 60 seconds and then go to stage 2 because their team mates won't rescue them?

just press spacebar and hook them, 45 seconds is LONG, UB shouldn't be 100% recovery speed it should stay at 35% then it's fine

No they won't, it doesn't take any killer that long to go from one end of the map to the other even with UB you could get there in time, and if you're not good at slugging you still have 22.5 seconds with UB to decide whether another survivor is worth chasing which is still enough time to process whats happening and make a good decision

There are 3 killers in the game that can viably 4 man slug. And even then it's extremely tough.

There are about 5 or 6 actually that are viable and if you yourself know that then it sounds pretty stupid to leave a survivor down for 45 secs right? Nobody is forcing you to leave them down and if flashlights are a huge problem run lightborn and pick them right up, also there will be plenty of killers who try to Speedrun with those top tier killers myself included , there are some nasty build combos you can make to synergize with the changes, alot of the streamers like Alf for example will probably try to go for the fastest 4k in the game on record with nurse or whatever killer they decide to play it's gonna make for some interesting matches.

Why are you guys keep repeating that this is Unbreakable basekit. This isn't. This is FAR BETTER than Unbreakable, and ALSO it becomes basekit. I mean Unbreakable works ONCE per trial, while this basekit has unlimited GETUPPA!!! Stay on the scene-ah. Like a sex machinnnnah

Even without the killer aura, that would be too much information for survivors. The most important information for everyone in the most important time, when someone is on the hook? Nah, don't do that. If you want this information, just bring Kindred! I do in 90% in my builds. It's for a reason one of the best perks for solos.

just allow them to use their own unbreakable, soul guard, flip-flop, adrenaline after closing the hatch, no mither, power struggle, even the boil over, idk, there are already too many things they use to recover from slugging, or even abuse when the killer is tryning to apply a bit of pressure, without the instakill thing -.-
the finishing mori should be like the yellow mori, only for the last survivor PLAYING the match...

Killer mains created the problem that demanded the solution. The solution happened and now killer mains are mad about it. Its amazing how when a toxic playstyle is addressed so many people suddenly decide to be vocal about it. Makes me think they were the ones participating in the toxic playstyles. Maybe its time for a new generation of killer mains.

How is slugging a toxic playstyle? Slugging is something the game and specific killers have been built around. Go play Myers, Oni, Twins, or Plague without slugging and see how that works. I also suppose flashlights should be removed because they can be used in toxic ways or killers should get lightborn base kit because its mean when survivors blind them?

I'm ready to play the game for the first time without having to worry about the killer leaving me on the ground for an entire bleed out. If killer mains are so upset that they have to quit the game instead of adjusting how they play which was detrimental to the overall survivor experience of the game then they probably didn't really care about proper balance to begin with. People will keep playing killer and as I said maybe its time for a new generation of killer mains. All they have to do is incentivize the roles. I actually think a lot of killer mains both old and new are going to like playing around the idea of not being able to slug out survivors for the 4k. I've said many times that this game needs fundamental change and I'm glad I'm starting to see that happen.
Its toxic because the killer is choosing to ignore you on the ground instead of putting you on the hook. It turns out being left on the ground with no option but to endure a very long bleed out so you don't get a stacking leaver penalty is not fun at all. Killers should be punished for slugging and now they will be if they choose to ignore survivors for long periods of time. This is going to stop slugging very fast because killer mains are going to quickly see that it is fruitless to do it. This is a very good change for the game and I'm glad they did it.

Survivors can't flashlight their way to a win. Killers can leave you on the ground for full bleed outs and win. I don't see what the comparison is here other than you seem to be just picking something at random just to say it needs to change because you're unhappy with another change.

A desire for balance and fairness in a game isn't entitlement. I could say the same for you with how you keep responding to this subject too. If you have to slug a survivor for more than 45 seconds then you probably also want "easy and free" wins too.

That wasn't the point. I meant that a flashlight itself, which has limited charges, can't be used to directly win the game for survivors. Slugging survivors for an entire bleed out WILL give the killer a win. There is nothing a survivor can do to the killer to ensure an easier win that is on the same level as slugging the whole team.
