Is Heal Tech ever gonna be removed/addressed?
Nothing beats eeking out another kill in a tough game only to have them get away at the exit thanks to Heal Tech.

Yeah the Killers pickup action should take priority over all other players actions, I don't know how that isn't the case already.

Who ever requested the action first takes priority. No reason why the killer should be able to pick up a survivor while that survivor is being interacted with by another player.

Lol it's such a niche situation. They got like five feet from the exit and have a competent team. Not really a high priority issue imo

It should if they player their trying to pick up is being healed.
Their making punishing hooks and downs a thing. They should make heal tech punishable.

It is a bit of a gripe I have myself too, if a survivor is in the process of healing another then if the killer hits them it should be classed as an interrupt and the healer is immediately grabbed, just like if they were on gens or hook saving.
And it's hardly game breaking either cos it adds more high risk high reward.

The one thing that would really increase that feeling of power you have as killer, would be a button to just throw survivors to the side, would it really change much in terms of balance? no. but it would be funny as hell to just toss a pink haired Nea out of the way as you chase someone.

I mean when it ends up in an uncounterable scenario no matter the circumstances... You can at least body block the killer from hooking. Heal tech you can do 0 things about to prevent it.

Easy solution, they can make it so healing a survivor instantly ends the game. Oh but No Mither is made basekit for the entire game to compensate.
There, no more heal-tech. 100% healthy mechanic, game will be so much better.

While I understand the concept of heal tech being op and needing something to counter I do not agree with people saying you should be able to pull off a player mid heal that would be game breaking and buff aura perks like nurses calling way to much

Not really because you would have to stop healing and run away, not stand there chumming it up with your dying pal on the floor while the killer is smacking you with their weapon.
Make it so it only works while healing downed survivors hardly game breaking at all really.

You are forgetting there are a lot of ways to make the killer undetectable that can easily get the survivor if they are not playing close enough attention

Once the mori update goes live you'll be able to kill the last player - assuming the game doesn't give them an extra second or two to crawl out the gate.
I'd say killing them is a pretty good reason.

I was camping a Jane in EGC cause there's literally nothing else to do once gens are done. She got unhooked and I downed her at the gates but one player heal teched her out. The Jane proceeded to spam me with messages calling me trash camper and unalive myself. Cool game

That's unfortunate but the Egc is often just a struggle to get a 1k, also report the Jane.

counter is not relying on end game to get kills. if there is that many people to heal the survivor, then survivor deserves to be in the advantage. some killers do really well in end game because of their innate instant down ability allowing them to comeback but for other killers. you really need to play the early and mid game to win with them.

I've never understood why the killer cant pickup a downed survivor thats being healed, nor can they kick a gen survivors are on

I think BHVR doesn't even know heal tech exists, honestly.

You would think that kicking the gen as killer would cause any survivors working on it to become stunned. Kind of like missing a skill check but would also leave them wide open to a free hit.

Should be able to kick a gen with survs on it, and if they dont stop repairing then the explosion downs them.

Imagine if we did apply some realistic physics to the game, where for instance a 7-foot Trapper could ragdoll toss survs out of the way.
But then again they'd be no way a Legion or a Pig could pick up Jeff and carry him anywhere, let alone be able to handle Jane's booty.

Sometimes all it takes is a single person. Its not a matter of "all 4 survivors are alive = escape" literally can only happen with 2 survivors which as most killers 2 kills is still usually the most they can do unless serious mistakes were made.

i would say for most of the killers. they probably range about 1-3 hooks if its highest level but there is middle ground where it's a bit more balanced and survivor make more mistakes so the balance is closer to the ideal 5-6 hooks. more chances to 2k and sometime convert into 3k-4k. I would say dbd is closer to balanced then it has ever before base-game wise. killer power-wise? some killer could use a bit of helping hand on the micro elements on killer gameplay but its overall ok. I just kinda wish that killer's fast chases and hooks meant a little more over the whole tunneling gameplay and camping gameplay that will become even more dominate after the unlimited base-kit breakable change.

3 hooks is very bad game for killer had one like that agains't 5K hours+ survivors when they brought 4 cakes I should tunneled harder and camped. Normally my worst are 5-6 hooks games. Probably usually I get 7-12 hooks.

Heal tech doesn't need a fix. It's something that literally only happens if survivors manage to make it literally INCHES from the exit but need a little time to crawl.
This happens nowhere else on the map and is such a non issue.

I do think the killer should have the authority to pick up survivors being healed and kick generators being worked on. Everything else is pretty silly.
Killer should not have the authority on hit reg though, but that's another story.
