Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
I escaped as well, and the challenge says "or better" so it definitely includes iridescent emblems, not sure if I'm missing something or if this challenge is bugged as hell but if anyone knows what is going on and maybe can help with clarifying what I need to do then that'd be great. Been stuck on this one for hours.

That entire tome is bugged af. There are three in it I cannot complete (this is one of them) and I am only on page 2. It sucks because I am relatively new and am weary of spending money on DLCs due to bugs and hacks. Tome 4, afaik, is the only one that has challenges requiring just base game characters.

Managed to find a solution, apparently the "or better" part is just a lie, you need to get gold only and not iridescent.

Some challenges are very strange.
I've noticed that the older bugged tomes will fail to complete on your first try even though you actually did the challenge. However, if you do the same challenge a second time and fail it, you will complete it at the end of the match.
Surprisingly consistent.
