Fan Chapter: Blood and Tears (Realm/Maps, Killer and Survivor idea)
TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNING FOR SA
Hello hello, here is my next fan chapter! I wanna state a slight trigger/content warning because I themed this chapter around a sub-genre of horror/exploitation movies: r*pe-and-revenge. I personally REALLY don’t like this sub-genre of movies at all. But can’t denied how often it’s used in horror films, including Third House on the Left, I Spit On Your Grave, Revenge and The Hill Has Eyes. So I decided to create a chapter based on this sub-genre. I will happily say that I did not write anything actually explicit, only implications. Still I figured it would be upsetting to some people so I thought to add a warning now. That being said, tell me what you guys think!
Realm: Lake Nymph
A small town along the east coast with a rather beautiful lake. The lake is quite a beautiful place to come visit, always peaceful and known for a lovely camp. The camp was pretty successful, enough for the town to build a second camp. But no sooner when that camp was opened, lives began to be lost. Now only one camp stands, surrounded by gruesome stories.
Maps: Camp Nymph (Lake Nymph)
An all-girls camp that been around for decades. A lively and friendly place for sisterhood and learning useful skills. The popularity of the camp is what created the decision to create the boys camp, Olympos. Stories and accusations of harassments grew and grew. Nothing was done and soon the two camps went down a dark path. Now only Camp Nymph stands, surrounded by tragedy.
Camp Olympos (Lake Nymph)
Camp Olympos was a boys camp built in response to the popularity of the girls camp, Camp Nymph. Camp Olympos was a testosterone filled camp of young men and boys, with very few rules enforced. Perhaps that’s why accusations of harassment from the campers and counselors began to form. The camp only lasted a few years before a tragic fire came to the mess hall, killing many of the people inside. The camp was closed and abandoned completely.
(quick note I wanted to based this chapter off of Camp Crystal Lake, similar how Coldwind Farm is based off the Sawyer Farm)

Background
Bernadette Woodville was a peculiar girl growing up. She was very much of an outcast to her peers, often bullies and mocked so to her quiet nature, and strange hobbies. But not everyone picked on her, her older sister Roxanne had always stood up for her and taken care of her. While Bernadette was widely unpopular, Roxanne was very popular. But despite this all, Roxanne loves Bernadette, always defending her. Since their parents always worked, the sisters were sent to a summer camp every summer. Camp Nymph was the small all-girls camp in their small town, a few miles away from their hometown. Roxanne absolutely loved the camp while Bernadette was mostly ok with it. Even as the girls got older, they went to the camp every summer. It wasn’t a surprise to Bernadette when Roxanne announced she was hired as a camp counselor. Roxanne loved the job and even Bernadette had to admit it made going to camp a bit more bearable. Around that time, another announcement was made; the construction of an all-boys camp on the other side of the lake, Camp Olympos. The boy’s camp was finished by next summer and filled with many of the loud and obnoxious boys from their school. The barely bearable summers for Bernadette became very unbearable. The boys would come over and harass the girls of Camp Nymph, from stealing underwear, tossing female campers into the lake, and sneaking peaks of the girls in the showers. Despite all the harassment, nothing was done. There was no real proof of what the boys were doing to the girls and since Camp Olympos was so new, no proper punishments were done for the male campers’ bad behaviors. Just boys being boys. Roxanne tried her best to make the best of it, trying to befriend the male counselors and campers. A couple of particular boys, Bradford and Tanner, seem the most interested in Roxanne. The two boys seemed to be the leaders of the harassment, which made sense, they were notorious bullies at their school as well. Bradford being the son of the sheriff made him think he could get away with anything. Bradford’s and Tanner’s constant flirting seem to make Roxanne uncomfortable, but when Bernadette ask her of it, Roxanne denies any discomfort. A night came, a secret part was being planned in the woods between both camps and the lake. Roxanne was of course invited, and when she asked Bernadette if she wanted to go, Bernadette politely declined, rather staying in her cabin and read. The night when on, a strange nervousness overcame Bernadette. A heavy sense of worry. Bernadette deciding she needed some air, began to adventure outside of cabin, only to recoil in surprise over what she nearly stepped on. A small corn snake. Despite nearly being crushed, the snake seem to have great interest in Bernadette. Fascinated by the strange friendliness, Bernadette generally cupped the snake in her hands, immediately deciding to keep it as a pet. She played with her snake, throughout the night, creating a small temporary home in an old cardboard box. Soon exhaustion overtook her, and Bernadette fell asleep, the snake watching her and the door of the cabin. Morning came when Bernadette awoken, to her sister storming in to the cabin. Roxanne appear to just gotten back from the showers, but something was immediately wrong to Bernadette. Her sister refused eye context, but Bernadette can see her skin was glowing red and almost inflamed. As if she had scrubbed in her skin raw. When Bernadette try to gently grab her sister’s hand and ask what was wrong, Roxanne reacted violently, shoving her sister aside and screaming not to touch her. Recoiled and hurt, Bernadette watch her sister curl up into her bed, refusing to look at or speak to Bernadette. The summer went on as Roxanne’s normally preppy and cheerful personality was gone. It was now withdrawn, fearful of others, and prone to violent outbursts. Bernadette tried her best to connect with her sister and see what had happened to her, but Roxanne blocked her out. Each day Bernadette felt her sister slipping further and further away. The male counselors and campers still came and harass the girls, and each time Roxanne was never present, always hiding in their cabin, the snake watching Roxanne very closely. The night came when Roxanne finally spoke to Bernadette, saying she loved her as she stuffed something in her backpack. Roxanne then announced she was going to take a shower, dragging a plastic bag along with her. Bernadette called out that she loved her too, her snake around her hand seemed to have tighten its grip. Time slowly ticked by until an hour had passed, that familiar feeling of nervousness came to Bernadette again as her sister hasn’t returned yet. A sudden scream was heard across the camp, forcing Bernadette out of her cabin, seeing a group of people gather around the showers. Bernadette made haste toward the showers, her snake watching her as the door closed. When Bernadette made her way into the showers and pushed passed the gathering crowd, the world suddenly hit a violent stop. The air left her body as once, a silent scream barely left her chest as a wave of horror engulfed her. Her sister’s body hung from the pipes of the shower, the noose digging tightly into her neck. Her once beautiful face now discolored. Her wrists were bloody with dull cuts. Everything and nothing seem to happen to Bernadette the next few days. The girls were sent home early from camp that summer, Bernadette returning home with only her snake. The image of her sister’s body still burned into her mind. Autopsy reports were told to her, explaining it was definitely a case of suicide, and how Roxanne attempted to slit her wrists at first, but couldn’t muster the Will to make the cuts deep enough, the bloody pocket knife found in her bag. Everything was deafening loud and deafening silent at the same time. Roxanne’s funeral was announced. Gone at 18. A burning question in Bernadette’s mind was like a wildfire. Why? Was she not a good enough sister? Was there some kind of pressure to be popular that Roxanne never expressed? Everything hurt and she felt nothing. She stood in Roxanne’s room, staring at everything, trying desperately to think why Roxanne did it, when something caught her eye, he snake had somehow escaped its box and Bernadette can see its tail crawling inside of Roxanne’s backpack. Bernadette went to pull the snake out from the bag when she realize it had coiled around a piece of paper. Pulling the snake out and pulling the paper free, Bernadette began to read the writing in it. A note from Roxanne to Bernadette. The wave that had surrounded Bernadette since she witness her sister’s body had reinvigorated into a hurricane of horror and rage. What had happen the night when Roxanne went to that party, the alcohol, the guys grabbing at her, her saying no, her clothes being torn, her…and how she was sorry for what she was going to do, but just couldn’t live with what had happened with her. She can only hope Bernadette would forgive her. Bernadette’s screams echoed across the house, everything suddenly making sense. She through bags and boxes around, screaming and cursing at the Bradford and Tanner and the other boys at Camp Olympos. Her snake watched her closely, as she carried on, its fangs becoming bared. Bernadette let everyone know what Bradford and Tanner did to Roxanne. She blamed them for her death and wanted justice for her sister. The went to her parents, the school, the police department. But the answers were the same. There was no proof of what they did, Roxanne’s autopsy didn’t find results of explicit assault done on her. Perhaps she just had to much to drink and regretted her actions. It’s just boys being boys. Bernadette was filled with a rising rage every time she heard those answers. Eventually she stopped accusing. She started planning for days, then weeks, then months and then years. The camps reopened next summer after Roxanne’s death. Bernadette continue going, smiling and acting as if nothing was wrong. She grew older, eventually was offered a job as a councilor herself, something Bernadette wholeheartedly accepted. As summer neared, Bernadette contacted the camp director of camp Olympos, suggesting a special celebration a successful 3 years of Camp Olympos. The director seems intrigued. Bernadette’s snake seem to smirk at this. She even mentioned a special award ceremony for current and previous counselors. Bernadette helped with the celebration, personally inviting several people, allowing her contact and convince, Tanner, Bradford and his chief of police father to it. The snake’s fangs seem to grow longer. Bernadette begged and begged her parents to come visit the camp for at least one day. So she could show them around Roxanne’s old favorite place to be. The snake’s body grew longer, it’s scales glistening strangely brighter. Summer finally came, the campers were being sent to their camps. Over across the lake, Bernadette could see the campers at Olympos were getting ready for their summer of fun. Bernadette helped ushered in the campers of Nymph to their cabins, promising each of the girls a summer without any more worry. No more harassment. A week went in when the announcement from Camp Olympos was finally told, a huge celebration for the camp’s successful years. Families were invited. The campers of Nymph could come, but was not mandatory. The day before the celebration, everything was set. While within her counselor cabin, she heard voices talking. The camp director of Nymph was speaking with another counselor. Bernadette froze when she heard Roxanne’s name mention. The director explained to the counselor how Roxanne came to her about her assault, and how the director gently explained that Roxanne shouldn’t ruin the boys’ futures because of one little mistake. As Bernadette heard the other counselor agree, the snake crawled up Bernadette’s arm and let out a soft hiss in her ear, coiling around her arm. Bernadette left her cabins making haste toward the supplies shack. No setbacks. The next day, the celebration began in Olympos’ mess hall. Games were played, snacks enjoyed, jokes made, and fires lit. The mess hall came crashing down as the fire burned and people realize they were trapped, the doors having been locked from the outside. Police were on the scene, helping survivors. Many of the Olympos’ campers, counselors, director and guests had either perished in the fire, died from severe wounds or were badly disfigured. Bernadette’s parents never made it out. Bradford and his father had made it out but died from injuries. Tanner had survived but horribly disfigured. Over at Camp Nymph, another scene unrolled. The director and a counselor were found beaten to death out near the woods, their bodies buried in shallow graves. At the center of the lake, Bernadette sat in a boat, watching the chaos happen at both camps, she hugged herself tightly, a sense of accomplishment arose in her. The snake’s iridescent scales glowed in the daylight as it continue to whisper in her ear. A fog slowly gathered around the lake, engulfing her boat as she quietly whisper for Roxanne’s forgiveness for what she had done.

Survivor: Pedro Macedo
Role: Strong Florist
Gender: Male
Nationality/Ethnicity: Afro-Brazilian
Appearance: Pedro is a large, muscular man with deep brown skin, light brown eyes and a short salt-and-pepper beard. He has dark curly hair tied back in long dreads. He wears a white tunic shirt, black jeans, black boots, and wears a flower crown and bracelets made of multiple colorful flowers.
Backstory: Pedro was born in Brasília with a strict father and many brothers. Pedro’s father, a large and testosterone driven man, wanted all of his sons to be his definition of what being a “man” was. Strong, fierce and doesn’t show any form or shape of “weakness”. Like his brothers, Pedro did his best to follow the rules of his father. He played rough with his brothers and participated in sports, being competing as possible. Pedro especially got into working out, buffing himself out through most of his teenage years. People knew the Macedo family were loud and rude people. When he was in secondary school, he dominated the school. Most students were afraid of him and even some of the staff hesitated to scold him when he acted out. Pedro felt powerful and untouchable. So when the day when he and some of his friends were harassing some younger students, that mentality he had was cracked. It wasn’t meant to go too far, just shoving around and name calling. That is until Pedro’s friends suggested taking one kid’s bag. Pedro happily obliged, snatching the boy’s bag before taking off. The boy ran after him, Pedro’s friends quickly catching up and tripping him. Pedro and his friends laughed that is until they realize the boy wasn’t chasing them anymore. Thinking he went to go tell a teacher on them, they ran back to the boy, only to find him on the ground, gasping for air. Pedro and his friend scan only stare, panic growing the the boy’s breathing grew more raspy and his face changing colors. Finally one of Pedro’s friends ran to grab a teacher. Everything happened so face for Pedro that day. The boy was having an asthma attack and Pedro ran off with his inhaler. The teacher manage to take the bag from Pedro and give the boy his medicine. The boy survived, but too much damage was done. The boy had severe scarring in his lungs and the lack of oxygen have results to damage to his brain. And it was Pedro’s fault. Pedro was then given two choices: be tried as an adult and sent to prison for theft and attempted manslaughter, or 3 years of community service, probation and therapy. Pedro chose the latter and found himself in Licensed psychologist, Carla Silva. Pedro’s first time in therapy wasn’t a success, he remain quiet and found the idea of talking about his feeling “stupid”. But overtime Pedro slowly softened, speaking to Dr. Silva here and there. Pedro talked about his home life growing up and the expectations his father had for his definition of “being a man”. How exhausting it was to constantly having to hold some image “perfect” masculinity and never appearing weak or “like a sissy”. It took Pedro a while to realize half way through his session that he was crying. It was the first time he cried since he was a toddler. Even after his mandatory sessions were over, Pedro continue speaking to his therapist and breaking down the toxic masculinity practices his father had place on him. Pedro allow himself to begin to explore things he was always curious about, but never explore due to none of it being “masculine” enough. One got he first things he explored was during his community services. He had to help with a beautifying of an old public park. While at first, he was mostly task to heavy lifting and grunt work, he was placed in a new task; gardening. The local gardener in charge of the operation was an older man, much to Pedro’s surprise. Mr. Lopez was a giant of man, much like Pedro, but took care of the flowers and other plants with such delicacy and grace. While the two worked, Mr. Lopez talked to Pedro, teaching him about different flowers and how to arrange them. Pedro found himself fascinated with this all and slowly grew a love it. One the day of his last mandatory community services, Mr. Lopez taught Pedro how to weave flowers. Pedro found himself a natural talent to do so, especially creating flower crowns. It was…relaxing for him. Dr. Silva encourage Pedro to take it as a hobby, and while embarrassed at first, Pedro enjoyed it, eventually creating countless crowns. Even when Pedro was done with his services, Mr. Lopez offered him a job at his flower shop. Pedro shyly accepted. Over the years, Pedro worked at Mr. Lopez’s shop, his family and their toxic lessons soon way behind him. But Pedro’s life was given another turn when Mr. Lopez passed away. The flower shop was closed down permanently, and Pedro was devastated over the loss of his friend. But to Pedro’s surprise he was called in by a Testator. Mr. Lopez had no family so he left everything to Pedro. Along with a note, telling Pedro to start a new life somewhere else, not wanting Pedro to fall into any bad habits or meet up with his father or brothers. With so many emotions going through Pedro, he made his decision. Pedro said goodbye to Dr. Silva before packing his bags and leaving Brazil. Pedro reached The U.S. with some difficulty, but manage to settle down. Finding a job at a local summer camp, Pedro opened his own flower shop. His little business grew gradually, taking all the skills he learned from Mr. Lopez, a fierce pride growing in him. Summer eventually came, much to his surprise, he was approached by camp director. An all-girls summer camp that went by Camp Nymph, wanted someone to help teach the campers about floral life and how to make flower accessories. Pedro decided to accept and soon found himself at said camp. He spoke with many of the campers and counselors about his teachings, how to properly, grow, harvest and weave flowers. It was fun for Pedro, but overtime he learned more about the camp. Years ago so gruesome events occurred, a girl hanging herself, the boy’s camp across the lake having a massive fire that killed a lot of people, a director and counselor murdered and the mysterious disappearing of a young girl. While creeped out by the stories, Pedro brushed off the urban legends and soon the summer came to the end. Pedro finished his last class with the students, and even agreed to participate in the last night celebrations. After a night of singing, s’mores, and activities, the campers went to bed and Pedro began to short hike with his supplies to his truck. The dark sky seemed illuminated by a fog, as Pedro walked along the path to where he has parked. But time slowly ticked by as Pedro grown confused. The fog seem to have lowered and thicken, obscuring his vision, but shouldn’t he be by his truck by now? Eventually the fog lifted enough for him to see he was no longer at Camp Nymph, but the long abandoned boy’s camp, Camp Olympos. Confused and bewildered, Pedro turned and made a beeline back where he came, when something crashed down in front of him. A long black tendril that had sprouted from the fog itself had sunk itself into the ground. Pedro fell back in shock and surprise as another tendril came down, sinking into the ground where Pedro stood. Pedro crawled backward, scattered his equipment and flowers as more and more tendrils appear from the fog, gaining closer to him. Pedro found himself backed up into an old wood pile, immediately grabbing and chucking old logs at the tendrils, each one harmlessly bouncing off. Pedro’s hands managed to find an old axe as the tendrils grew even closer. With all his strength, he swing the axe. The axe head brown off against the steel-like skin of the tendril, the shock of the break forcing Pedro to let go of the handle in shock and pain. But that blow seem seem to stop the tendril about to grab him. The tendrils seemed stunned for a second then the fog exploded around Pedro in whirlwind. The tendrils shot out from the fog, gripping his wrists and ankles and lifting Pedro into the air. A scream began to form in his throat was immediately silence by another tendril wrapping around his throat. Pedro’s shop never opened again, his truck found abandoned at Camp Nymph.

You put a load of effort into this. I liked the read. I only read the killer thus far and I’ll read the rest later. Paragraphs would have been good but maybe it bugged on you.
I hope you get a lot of feedback on this. Creations can be a bit of a dead section so don’t be discouraged if not many people reply.

Thank you so much! When I first started writing DBD chapters, I mostly wanted to write different lores and the power/perks came in later, so I’m glad you like it so far!

I was thinking of a killer who would use snakes as traps earlier today, wow! xD I hadn't thought of the overall power yet, but was thinking of add-ons that would allow gens/totems be trapped as well.
"Bloom Among The Chaos" is probably my favorite perk out of these.

Thanks for the feedback! And yeah I been trying to work on Add-Ons for all my killers, but it’s been a process!
