Last Survivor FOV is under "Accessibility", hope for Shadowborn basekit?
Also, if the issue is that stealth was designed around the killer having low FOV (in 2016, before looping was even discovered, 6 years ago), how about giving survivors ever so slightly faster walk speed to compensate? Fair deal right?
Of course in reality it's solo queue that actually needs help and QoL changes right now, but it's a thought. Also what about changing Wraiths perks to be more interesting at the same time? Bloodhound and Predator aren't exactly great perks.

just anything to let me use 4 perks bhvr, please. I love this game and have been committed to it for so long. But this would be one nice feature that would really sell it for me. Since i would be able to play with 4 perk slots. As a accessibility feature it'd be amazing for people like me who cannot play the game without it.

Saying the game is balanced around the killer having low FOV is just a weird cope and I don't take it as a valid excuse anymore. FOV techs literally only work on inexperienced killers and hiding from the killer isn't any different depending on FOV, good killers are usually looking around lots anyways. The only real reasoning for as why we don't have a FOV slider is because it is BHVR. They waited until the community was backfiring before considering doing colorblind options for people. I'm honestly surprised they are even addressing flashlight spam for epileptic people.

Shadowborn basekit isnt necessarily the way to go since it will trade who gets affected, but the fact that they put that in there means they understand how to not make the situation worse when adding a new mechanic, so there is certainly hope. FoV slider is hopefully the plan when they work out all of the other things that would need to be adjusted to accommodate it.
Still, whether they were just tonedeaf and intended this option when they announced the update (and forgot to mention it would have a setting for it) or if it wasn't an option but they listened when it got called out (and put in a measure to prevent it from making things worse) either one is a win for how they're handling accessibility and hopefully the trend going forward.

FOV slider is necessary. Literally zero good reasons against it.

Love this meme but no compensation necessary. It's a QOL change for all except the people who truly believe that FOV reduction is the difference between them immersing or not.
And those people will adapt. Or they won't.
