the new decisive strike change in the future
ok so im all for this but i see their one drawback or issue so you get stunned for someone to come in for the flashlight save in that time because your unable to drop the survivor this surely opens the thing of being insta flashlight save if you cant turn unless i missed something?

You can still turn, you just can't move. Or at least that's what it seems like by the way they're wording it. Plus I'd rather have the off chance of getting flashlighted than guaranteed having a survivor get off my shoulder.

Would be cool if it's the survivor who chooses when he can use the stun, so if the killer walks between a pallet, they could hold him there to get slammed.

I don't believe you'll be able to turn. The way they're wording it made it appear to me like it treats the stun EXACTLY the same as it was before, you just don't drop the survivor. If you get flashlighted in that time naturally you would drop them.

I see that issue too because if the killer can't move or turn then toxic swf can just flashlight you and save the survivor so that doesn't really stop toxicity with DS especially with Ochido and his toxic friends so it's not really a nerf if it's a swf group because the friend will just get the survivor off the shoulder with a flashlight unless the killer can turn.

From what I've understood :
you can stun the killer in place, but you do not drop. I don't think the killer will be able to turn or adjust his vision.1 -
I don't use it but your just making another trash perk. It doesn't do what it says anymore. Like tinkerer that will be garbage at 90 percent notification when a generator will be finished most killers are too slow to react.0

Obviously killers avoid walking through pallets, but sometimes we all do it when we are fairly sure no one is around and it might be close to a jump off.

I don't see the problem here. Yeah SWF can still use it to flashlight save. But they could probly hit the save anyway if you don't defend it. Even in this case you have 2 survivors not doing gens. As opposed to the person just getting a free escape the way it is now.
I don't really see any randoms running it.
Great change.

I looked at it this way when I read it:
You are "stunned" not "rooted", you will not be able to look up/down or turn around etc for the duration.0 -

My only real issue with it is that it would be way OP on a SWF team. They seem to be moving into an area where things benefit solo queue players more than SWF and this iteration of DS certainly does not fit that bill. I think we'll be seeing a different take on it once it finally hits the PTB.Well in my experience at R1 a SWF team is going to hit a flashlight save anyway if you don't defend it.
It might help inexperienced swf groups but it's still only once per match anyways.
Helping inexperienced players is a positive thing for the game. It's like survivors getting a perk to show pallets/windows.
A huge balance problem in the game is the skill gap in survivors. Perks like these help bridge that gap at the cost of a perk slot.
