Wesker infection off hook

I think the infection starting half the way when ur unhooked is bit too strong. I was tunneled off hook and I reached only the nearest pallet and then was at full and thus so slowed down he didn't have problem catching up no matter what... Even when not tunneled u don't have time to heal and then spray without it reaching the max infection. I mean I don't really mind that if u're not tunneled but when u are, the power is literally helping him do that. Make it start at zero when unhooked (not at half) so u have at least some extra time to waste his. It was really ridiculous to play against.

To note, it only resets back to half infection if you are above that. If your infection is less than half when hooked, it'll stay there.

And I don't see it completely resetting to 0 infection as a good idea. There's 6 boxes (12 total uses) on the map. It's already easy enough for survivors to completely remove infection. I don't think hooking should also act as another way to remove it otherwise there would be less value in spraying.

Im not saying removing it completely, but starting at zero so if he is tunneling u have more time before u're slowed down, and if ur not tunneled people usually go for spray anyway so there's no problem either.

    You're lying.

You have something like 40s at half infection before you become fully infected. You couldn't get to a pallet in forty seconds? Even with the video conference addon it's like what 23s? 10 of which you're moving at 110% speed. And you couldn't get to a pallet. That's a lie. You don't have to disassemble to make your point, just phrase it differently. This is embarrassing.

Even with your numbers (which I don't question one bit) - it's still unfair, that tunneling is this much effective. After full infection the chase will end within 15s - probably sooner. That means, it's quite easy to tunnel someone out of the game.

I don't know how exactly should it be done, but there probably should be something like infection "freshness". When infection is stale, it does not progress while in chase. But fresh infection does (infecting people mid chase is reasonable mechanics - especially if survivor got infected by killer's ability within chase).

So unhooked infection time should probably stay the same as it is now, but not build up when being tunneled.

It starts at 50 charges and builds at a rate of 0.8c/s

From 0, it takes 125 seconds to go to max. From 50, it's obviously half that, so 62.5 seconds. He needs to commit to tunneling pretty heavily.

However, it's worth noting that if he hits you with his m2 while you have endurance, it adds 20 charges. So 70 to 100 takes 37.5 seconds, which is much scarier.

Bro what's your deal to call me lying.... I was rescued, teammate started healing me (didn't finish) then Wesker came back to the hook, he wasn't camping, he decided to tunnel after the unhook, then what? I'm already almost full at that point... saying tunneling not camping.
