Stop Onryo condemning spamming

A killer trying to use her power to win? How dare she?!
4 -
It's INSANE, how dare they try to use the most gimmicky and difficult power in the game to get kills??
4 -
Let's ban them. Better yet let's find out who they are so we can sue them.
2 -
Sue them INTO THE GROUND, I'll get you OnePumpWillie! I'll SANCTION THEM ALL lol
1 -
This is actually not the way I like to play Mrs. Yamamura.
I like to play with a lot aura-reading and the Iridecent Tape.
2 -
It's apply condemned to survivors 30 times. Not that hard honestly.
2 -
Twins are a strong killer, like they've always been rated above average and sometimes even A-tier.
Freddy though yes is bottom tier.
1 -
Even if you're not going for straight condemned kills Iri Tape is necessary to make the survivors feel any pressure from Condemned. Without it, most of the time you can just ignore Condemned and escape without even touching a tape. Ring Drawing is what makes the slugging playstyle viable and that'll be gone with the anti-slugging measures.
Once the anti-slugging is in place Sadako needs a strong buff to her ability to use teleport or TVs applying passive Condemned stacks. Otherwise, the entire Condemned mechanic can just be ignored many matches.

"Please remove the only strategy that prevents this killer from being unequivocally the worst in the game while I suggest zero buffs to come in its place"

These people commenting simply don’t understand. Once you run into it more than once, any reasonable person would agree that this build makes the game unbearable for survivors. Out of the 6-7 times I’ve run into it, the killer has never even gotten a Mori, just some bleed outs lol.
2 -
Sorry I'm a little confused by your post - it seems self-contradictory.
You state "a killer as of right now could down all 4 survivors, and without the mori mechanic, just win by waiting completely removing skill or playing the game."
Surely if the killer has downed all 4 survivors that demonstrates that since they managed to take everyone down before anyone could raise up one of the slugged team-mates, that the killer has clearly demonstrated both skill and that they have indeed been playing the game?
4 -
I mean, that's really the only way to make her viable. She's one of the weakest killers in the game and needs buffs.
3 -
Man I'm struggling with it. T.T I'm just not good at playing her. For some reason, I tend to miss with her weapon a lot.

Hey, Trapper mains. Stop using your traps.
6 -
no, "not playing the game" by literally NOT PICKING PEOPLE UP! that's refusing to play the game, and just unfairly wasting people's time so you can win, now that we have unbreakable, they can't force situations like that, I didn't contradict anything, you just wanted to be lil snobby lol

skill issue

You just gotta keep teleporting around, I'd recommend BBQ if you have it, or any similar aura reading perks so you know which TVs to teleport to.
I'd say it's more akin to asking Myers players to stop spamming Tombstone Piece every game honestly.
0 -
Nah, not playing the game is not picking someone up and then just standing over them. Slugging someone and then hunting down the other survivors, then downing them, is efficient. So much so that the Dev's have entire perks and add ons that are devoted to making slugging easier to do, it's not some loophole in the design.
Not saying I support this style of playing Sadako: I don't, her most viable playstyle should not be slowly bleeding four survivors to death from the start lest they get slapped with a mini-Mori, rather that's to say this rhetoric is out of tune with how the game is actually built.
4 -
Soooo, you kinda have to play her like a long ranged killer. I got ya, Oni can be played like that surprisingly well actually. I may have to level her up abit, I don't have a bunch of perks unlocked for her yet.
0 -
I'm aware of what slugging is, I was deliberately not. talking about that, obviously
0 -
Since slugging is a viable tactic and they have designed perks specifically for and against it, slugging is most definitely playing the game.
And please stop with the personal attacks.
1 -
Your logic is confusing. If you think winning by slugging is "unfairly wasting people's time so you can win" then why are you happy over a proposed PTB update that literally promotes more slugging and more camping so that people can win faster and sweatier than currently possible?
Its like me saying a Survivor isn't playing the game by committing to a gen across the map while there's somebody actively on the hook. They're prioritizing efficiency of one objective over the other while disregarding the potential enjoyment of the hooked person, so are they also "not playing the game" then or is it only unfair because slugging benefits the Killer and not Survivor? I don't understand how there's justification for all Survivor actions in a match but everything a Killer decides to do gets demonized
I get that its not the most fun thing in the world and I don't enjoy it the most myself, but it was designed by the developers themselves so blame them. Don't let them trick you into thinking that its the players' fault or sweating for a win that created this, If it wasn't an organic part of the game then they wouldn't have specifically designed multiple perks and Killers around it plus they wouldn't have waited 7 years to address it. You know what, actually maybe they would because this is BHVR we're talking about

Well... if Sadako had anything in her kit to slow the game down it wouldnt be necessary to play the way she is played currently. Pig for example wins most of her matches (if u believe in some inofficial stats). Why? Because she has an awesome slowdown which got buffed Recently. Imagine a pig without her RBTs. Oh boy, that would make her worst killer in the game instantly. No Slowdown and a bad Chase-Power. A few years ago killers had more time to chill I assume (when watching old videos I can feel its far slower than nowadays... maybe its a MMR-Thing).

Thanks for the ideas. I'll have to give this playstyle a try.
1 -
Sakado is pretty much useless without spamming condemned, she is the weakest killer on the roster. Nerfing her power would maker her a non-exsistant killer. Poor girl is in desperate need of a rework.
0 -
Dont worry, base UB will be the good nerf she deserves /s

many killers have some sort of bs build that makes it a garbage experience for most survivors (redhead's pinky finger, skillcheck doc, iri tag blight, iri uroboros vial, mother-daughter ring, thanatophobia legion pin, mint rag hag, iri hatchet, whatever else other killers may have)
the difference with sadako is that she's genuinely a bad killer otherwise. those killers that i mentioned do not need to resort to such builds, at least not nearly as often as sadako does. if the tv's didn't have such a long cooldown i'd say she'd indeed be a good *M1* killer, but in the end she'd still be a M1 killer whose chase power is holding W.
1 -
You'll be surpriced if you ever play m1 killer people go very fast down.
0 -
It's a snooze-fest for sure, but let's be real we're talking about Sadako. It's the one thing she has going for her. Still that doesn't mean having a match stretched out to seven real consecutive days is enjoyable in any way.
0 -
Killers didn't have more time to chill, just more crushing gen perks and more crushing Killers. Without running the best perks on the best Killers, you actually had WAY less time to chill between 2016 and 2019 compared to now.
1 -
Genuinely wondering whether people just forgot how to play M1 killers.
3 -
It is clear here we have a killer who is extremely low tier and needs all the help we can get so there is no reason to remove their best playstyle. After all, it's all she has going for her. That is why I'm proposing we bring back box camping Pig 😏

Yeah there is another way basically losing to any medium survivor lvl
0 -
Philosophical question of the day: If a thread is only one month old when it gets necroed is it really a necro?
0 -
What is the incentive? Only a handful are any fun. Most are just god pallet kicking simulator and then you get BM'd at the end if you lose.

" Complete unfun to Face "
When will Survivor learn that Killers arent here to make the Game Fun for Survivor the Killer is the bad guy and Need to kill so he use Everything that helps him
Do Survivors Stop using Gen Rush perks because its unfun for Killer?
Do Survivors Stop using Map offering for Survivor Sided Maps because its unfun for Killer?
Do Survivor Stop using there best Perks because itsunfun for Killer?
NO
So Why arent Killers allowed to use there best Tactic ?
Oh wait because of the Survivor Rule Book

Yeah, the game has evolved a lot, both survs and killers have more tools than ever, and your basic M1 killer is a relic.
Of course survs love going against them, because they're basic and easy to beat compared to more recent additions (Nurse notwithstanding). Many people call all non-M1 killers "unfun" or "boring", but the inverse is true. Looping is fun for a while, but when it's all you have it gets pretty boring.
2 -
Yeah I don't mind looping, it's the core gameplay of DBD. But plenty of times there's 4-5+ pallets and vaults all lined up in a row it's just horrid playing an M1 killer. Even worse if it's an M1 killer with low mobility so you get heavily punished for leaving a chase.
I basically have to dedicate 2x slots to bamboozle and enduring to make it tolerable; which then means you skimp on the gen perks and get 4 minute games where your only option is to tunnel. They feel lose-lose a lot of the time
The only one I play regularly is Dredge, who has some decent anti-loop and mobility baked in to the core M1 gameplay
