How to reveal Ghostface
I faced one and he was leaning from a corner and only a leg was behind cover so I turn the camera to face him and even my character and yet nothing it wasn't until I got exposed that it started saying he was getting revealed so am I missing something.

Ah... good ol Ghostface, the buggy mess of a killer that he is, lol

Yeah I really know this situation. It counts if ur cam is directly at him. Its a bit tricky tho.

Roll 1d6. On a 7+, reveal Ghostface.

Nah that sounds about right. What I've found is that I have to tilt my camera slightly up almost looking at the skyline before it lets me reveal him and even that changes based on proximity.
And then sometimes I just reveal him and didn't even see him to begin with. So it's a hot mess

I remember I was revealing him while on hook it was funny seeing him trying to hide again only to get revealed....he slowly looked at me and began smacking me on the hook like "Stop that"

His reveal mechanic either works as intended or not at all. I wouldnt be surprised if it was somehow tied to framerates or resolution or something at this point.

It's also harder to reveal him while he's leaning out from a corner, or if he is crouching don't forget.

His mechanics are as buggy as Wesker's.
Few changes to fix this awful mechanic:
▪︎Ghostface can ONLY be revealed when stalking in Night Shroud.
▪︎While in Night Shroud, the power meter can be either Green, Orange, or Red.
— Green: Concealed, no survivor is looking in your direction.
— Orange: Seen, a survivor is looking in your direction.
— Red: Revealed, a survivor has been looking in your direction for more than 5 seconds. Stalking in this status will disable Night Shroud, putting you on cool-down.
▪︎Survivors can "look" at Ghostface if:
— They have clear line of sight to him, unlimited range.
— Looking in his direction in a 30-degree cone within a range of 16 meters.
— Ghostface will always be in Red Status when in a chase.
There you go, GF is now fair. Numbers can be tweaked for balance later, but you get the idea.

So if he never stalks, he just never has a TR and can attack straight out of it? I like how much consideration went into multiple variables, but thats a big one thats missing.

The trick I generally use is try to line Ghostie up with your character's head.

It's different now. He needs to be taking up a large part of your screen and also has to be around the center of it. It's very inconsistent. Btw the positioning of your character doesnt matter

Works pretty reliably for me. Lining up by the head is a way to get Ghost Face as central on your screen as possible.

I reveal a fair few ghostfaces. You need to get him well centred in the screen, and listen for the audio cue. Sounds like a bit of tension build up music from a horror movie lol. Also got to be in range as well, i think he can stalk from further than survs can reveal, and the closer you are to him the easier it is to reveal. Best way to do it is when he's sneaking up on someone else and not noticed you.

His ability is bugged sometimes, I've remember when I've been standing in front of him, but still wasn't able to expose him, the range was about 2-3 meters
Also, here's the picture, where I was clearly see him, but wasn't able to expose

I heard that 50% of him has to be visible to begin revealing him. He's more than 50% concealed there, so revealing him would be an issue. That's one of the benefits of him crouching and peeking.
That being said, he's ironically super easy to reveal when you don't want to reveal him. I've even revealed him while looking in the complete OPPOSITE direction of him, and revealing him through solid walls happens regularly. The entire thing is buggy.
Just as a little extra info, the "reveal area" for him from a survivor's point of view is halfway between the center of your screen and the top of your screen. You have to line him up slightly higher than you'd naturally consider.

It has actually.
Shouldn't be a problem, he's a 115% killer and if he's not stalking you — everyone gets two health states. Additionally, his stealth is still broken post attack. You should be good.
Just pay more attention and use common game sense. Avoid easy to ambush areas. I'm sure you played against a stealth killer before so I'm not going to elaborate further.

My point is that he basically becomes a better wraith at that point, being able to hide your red stain and TR in chase is huge, which is why it has the reveal mechanic as a counter.

I wound up as the last survivor in a trial against Ghostface. So long as you just listen for him and don't have LOS you're good to work on the exit gate. Usually. While waiting for him to pass on patrol the corner of my camera caught some of the floating belts, so I turned and looked away immediately. Fully revealed him through two walls and with my camera pointing in the other direction. Needless to say I didn't make it.

Except Wraith gets insane speed and Invisibility, GF would not have that. Wraith can shred some loops with his cloak speed and post uncloak speed, GF doesn't have that.
Yes, being undetectable is undoubtedly strong, I agree there, but the killer is forcing themselves into a Plague situation where they lose half their power just because they wanna be all cool and undetectable. Additionally, they still lose stealth when attacking, so it's not going to be active a lot.
Just think it will be fine, my suggestion is just a rough idea. Things can be changed later on for the sake of balance.

From my experience, you can look directly at them and not reveal them. You can stare at a survivor completely exposed in the open, and not mark them. You can even get revealed through walls randomly depending on the map and area. Ghostface is just not really consistent.
