The Shape's daily ritual does not gain progress

The daily ritual for The Shape, called "Rite of the Dark Within", does not gain progress. I did a trial with the J.Myers Memorial and Memorial Flower add-ons and i tiered up 5 times and this daily ritual gained no progress.

It's not every daily at least because i have been able to do others.

This is the second time I've gotten this daily and it still does not progress. I can't trash it so can't finish my daily today.
