334x Survivor, 422x Killer - stats
Hello.
because a lot here conplained about the Balancing of the game, talking about OP Killers and Survivors who cant win, I decided to test it out on myself. For my surprise, I played a lot more survivor than killer in the past ~60 days. Lets take a look:
1. SURVIVOR
After recording almost 100 games in this role, I cannot agree with the panic I can read sometimes here. In this stats, there is 2Man, 3Man and SoloQ included. Please forgive me, I dont have every option seperately recorded. I have to admit, that I forgot sometimes to press the F12 from Steam at the end-screen, but this happened on both situations, Escape and Death.
Well, here are my Survivor-Stats in the last 60 days:
As u can see, I had 50% Escape-Quote. My builds were Prove Thyself, Lithe, Off the Record and Windows of Opportunity in most 2+Man-Trials, Lithe, Off the Record, Clairvoyance and Wake-Up in SoloQ.
Now u can say, your MMR is bad or whatever, but I doubt it. I could feel that SoloQ-MMR is lower than SWF tho. After this experiment, I, for me, cannot see the OP Killers till now. BUT: Its harder to get out, 100% sure.
2. KILLER
On the other side, I have only 50+ matches recorded, because I went to Rank 1 in 1-2 weeks. Its my better role in this game for sure. I switched all Killers around (with a few exceptions... I dont like Bubba for example). Here are my stats:
Wirh a kill-rate of over 80% in total, I assume that its easier to play killer than before 6.1.0. Its a huge deal to have old deadhard dead. I think this one perk alone is a massive buff, the 10% speedup is especially helpful for M1-Killers with low mobility-powers.
As u can see, I have used Meta-Perks most of the time. With the knowledge of being more than the 61% "BHVR-Powerhouse", I feel more free to try Meme-Builds. Before the patch, I was forced to use the same 6 perks over and over again. However, the killers itself are not perfect, there are some I would love to see Devs taking a look at, especially my Freddy, Sadako, Trapper at the bottom (buffs), Nurse, Blight and Artist at the top (nerfs).
Thanks for your attention and much fun in the fog.
PS: Start-Menu of the last 14days 😅:

here is the result of 299 matches soloQ
as conclusion i can say, there is no such thing as mmr. you get matched with and against who is available.

I don't want to be a party breaker, but that is not a lot of matches in total to make something out of it. But keep it up!
I love stats.
7 -
Of course, but it Shows an Indicator for sure.

It mainly shows MMR not working correctly. Your killer MMR is just too low, that's all.
9 -
Its always the same. I get good teams in the daytime and more or less easy games in the evening/nighttime.

I love to play killer, even more since the Deadhard-Change. The old deadhard and the toxicity was awful, now it feels much better.
On survivor-side I have a lot of fun if a chase took a lot of time and i can loop the killer 1min+. I cannot deny that I love it when new Deadhard triggers and I time it right. Its also refreshing that I can switch perks easier than before.
If I just do gens, its boring.

Why not 300? Lol

Very interesting. I've been much happier as a killer lately.
Way less trolling these days. I just want the game to be fun both ways and this is definitely the closest it's been. If there was a way to truly eliminate campers and tunneling the game would be perfect.
Also I've always felt there should be no match making. you should just get who you get like Friday the 13th.
one match may be vs an elite killer, next may be a new player but you never know what you may encounter

here you go.

When people complain about Survivor being "unplayable" they are usually talking about Solo Q.. Everyone knows SWFs are more fun and give better results to teamwork and escapes because of comms and actually being able to rely on your SWF teammates.
If anything this is decent proof of how easy killer is now though.. You won 46 of your games and only lost 5, with 3 games considered a draw... How do you think that is a "balanced" experience? lol
9 -
I'd like for you to do the same thing but with swf and solo q separate.

Your stats pretty much show killer is OP. Over 85% kill rate is crazy. Your survivor stats are above average and you probably play swf with decent survivors which increase your escape rate compared to someone who plays just soloQ. Would be interesting to see what is your soloQ escape rate.
Average kill rate overall is 61% for all killers so killer is not actually OP but they're certainly stronger than before.

What site do you use for this? I’m kind of curious to see my own results

Those are Nightlight stats. I use that site too, although I hover between about 68-70% kill rate personally and hardly play survivor. 89% kill rate is impressive!
As far as the overall kill rate on that site is across all opposing killers, it’s 55%. That’s lower than the 61% actual overall average the devs report but keep in mind the Nightlight users are going to skew toward being above average since new players are unlikely to track stats on it so that’s a 55% kill rate against at least average to above average survivor players.

I never said that. I just said that its - FOR MY EXPERIENCE - not as terrible as somebody else talks.

The most funniest thing is: Until yesterday, Sadako was the deadliest killer. On P2, Freddy showed up.
LMAO
For my results: thanks for the warm words 😊. I used every killer besides Hillbilly and Bubba.

Where can I see how many of these escapes were hatch escapes?
1 -
There is no option for this. You can just select between "Escape" and "Escape (given)".
As u can see, I used 16 or 17 times Clairvoyance, so this is the amount of solo-q-games

My next experiment will be: 30 games per killer 😆.

Disagree. The fact that survivors are third person camera vs first person makes it far more difficult for me to settle into than killers. Especially considering how much you have to utilize it in chases. My macro game and stealth play is pretty decent in survivor, but I get destroyed in chases because I can't get the hang of the camera. I do play killer way more, but that's largely due to it being far more difficult for me to get the hang of the camera.

Disagree. As killer, you have to play for yourself the whole trial, as survivor, you need to trust 3 random players in your "team". If they suck, you cannot win, regardless what u do.

for me of now 308 games
2 -
what program or site is this? I wouldn't mind checking it out for myself.

nightlight.gg
at the end of the match you take a screenshot of your match and upload it to this site. you can manually add things like maps or tags or how someone escaped.

ah, that one. that explains why I'm unfamiliar with it as I play on console. But if it's got image recognition maybe it'd be a worth a shot anyways so I don't need to use pen/paper like I was, thank you

I always struggle to take meaningful conclusions from things like this, because these two figures are contradictory. Your killer figures allow for a 20% escape rate, while your survivor figures allow for a 50% kill rate.
You're either an above average survivor, or an above average killer, or both. Which by definition means it doesn't reflect the average player's experience.
More over, your survivor figures show that the whole team is doing better than the teams you go against as killer.
How do you determine where your strengths are? Are you an above average killer but an average survivor, indicating that the game is in fact perfectly balanced?
Or are you above average survivor as well, indicating that the game is killer sided?
It can't be an indicator that "MMR just doesn't work" because not every killer can have an 80-90% kill rate in an ecosystem that allows for a 50% escape rate.

Perfect, lol

Yeah, I think Sadako is a little underrated, at least by people who say she’s the worst killer in the game. I think she’s basically on par with Wraith personally. And on Nightlight she has almost a 60% kill rate. I think part of it is simply that stealth is generally good against average players and weaker against players with really strong observational skills. That’s also why Pig historically does really well in the dev’s overall stats too.

Nah Wraith has far more speed after his uncloak, while Sadako has nothing after Demanifestation. Her Speed-Up after coming out of the TV doesnt really matter, because the RNG is so bad sometimes. Its the same like Jigsaw-Boxes, Freddys Alarm-Clocks etc. - mostly the gen is in your back and u lose your speed by turning around etc.

Wraith loses a lot of time during his uncloak while Sadako moves at just about her normal speed while Manifesting so there's really no difference there.

Neat! Thank you! What's your username on there? It says you can get a special badge for referring me

All this really isnt worth it. Its cool to see stats yeah. But not really good for comparing the modes. If you ask me, a good coordinated 4 man SWF with very good perks such as CoH, Lithes, Proves. It's very hard for the killer to do anything. As people previously said your MMR is probably low. Appreciate the stats. Peace.

Your post intrigued me a lot. I am going to attempt to play 100 solo games, but I will be honest. Today was pretty miserable to play. I tried my best to power through, but I am scared for the next 80. Here are my first 20 games. 5 games were Nurse, 5 were Blight. The other 10 were random Killers.

Keep it up. My next mission will be X Games per Killer.

I don’t understand the top survivor perks screenshot. Are you saying that Dead Hard was so rare that it wasn’t even in the top 7 for survivor perks?
0 -
in the games he recorded. overall on nightlight deadhard its number 1 and for my recoreded games its number 2.
0 -
I’m very often seeing 1-2 dead hards every game. Is Dead Hard pretty much dead at some of the MMR levels?
Is this the reason why BHVR thinks the current Dead Hard is fine? Because there are many people that just don’t see it anymore?
0 -
for my recorded games dead hard has its 1/3 more use than lithe, the second most used exhaustion perk. usually my team members have more than 700 hours into the game. cant tell what mmr level that is since i get all kinds of good and bad playing killers.

Its for my games. And I have used Lithe mostly. My stats are ONLY for me, not the teammates (!).

500 games soloQ update for me.

Impressive. I will upload my stats when the next 100 is reached again.

New Stats are arrived after more games. Lets share our stats. Very interesting are the most used perks, which are no surprise:
