Killers arent allowed to have fun, change my mind
Honestly, ive played against nothing but the sweatiest of sweat lords all day. Im doing everything I can to get them, but its always the same thing over and over.
I get a down, go to pick up, flashlight. I try again, get another down, make sure nobodies around. Pick up, then someone sprint bursts in front of me with a flash bang.
Just non stop crap from survivors. Its like Im not allowed to have fun. Im doing my absolute best to just get one down, and when I finally get one hook, five gens have popped cause they always know Im not near them.
I disengage, go to kick gens, search the area for a moment and leave. And as soon as im two fert away it pops.
When is it my turn to have a little fun? As a killer, am I always going to be trolled? Picked on? Tea bagged? Its no fun to be a killer.
And when I switch to killer, all I get is tunneled out of the game or face camped. I have no clue what is going on or why Im not allowed to enjoy the game.

Lightborn is your friend. Also don't take games so seriously because then you'll burn out quickly.

Because survivors need the ego boost. They can't get it anywhere else so they do it in a video game that they KNOW has bad matchmaking.

Killers also need the ego boost too, with all their camping and tunneling at 5 gens left. Killer mains always say the same stuff survivor mains say, both sides are entitled and have no basis for any of their complaints. The game is becoming worse and worse which each update cause Behaviour could care less as long as they're pleasing the top 1% of each side. This game has never been and will NEVER be a competitive game, it's just not made for it and has 0 win conditions, even though eveyone makes up their own conditions. LOL

I didn’t know killers get facecamped and tunneled.

A similar "I can't enjoy it" discussion was erected in Japan two years ago.
The CM's response to this was.
On the contrary, let me ask you, why do you think you don't "enjoy" it? Is it because you can't fix the generator fast enough? Or is it because you can't get wiped out every time?
If it is one or the other, the speed of generator repair depends not only on the perk, but also on the killer's strategy, so if the generator is repaired in an instant every time, it would be better to change the strategy or strategy to make it harder for the repair to progress. If you are really getting repaired in an instant every time, it would be a good idea to change your stance and tactics to make it harder for repairs to proceed. You may seek advice from the good veterans on this forum on how to do this specifically. Or maybe you could watch videos or feeds of people who are good at game-making and use them as a reference. There is no such thing as an instant generator repair in every match, so you should look for tips that you can apply in your own play.
If you're having trouble getting wiped out every time, you're setting your hopes too high; Dead by Daylight doesn't aim to balance the game so that you can get wiped out every time. It's like trying to win a competitive game every time. Why don't you scale down your goals a bit and relax your shoulders a bit more, for example, aiming to outwit survivors who are good at archive challenges, BP earning, and chasing?
Finally, I know you've only been playing serial killers for two years, but I urge you to try playing survivors too! Playing survivor will give you discoveries you won't get in serial killer, and Dead by Daylight is neither a serial killer game nor a survivor game. It's a waste of time because it's one game that combines both and will help you improve.
This is not a complete answer because the question was asked by a different person. However, I would like to tell you that the management's answer was to lower the threshold for fun.

Didn't you know it's a really horrible experience that hooked survivor is face camping you all toxic and hatful....
1 -
You could argue it the other way round as well, just look at every instance of killer's being sweaty.
In some cases, yeah, it's ego, but usually those people become headless chicken the moment you stray from the playstyle they expect (on either side)
In other cases it's lack of experience (not as in 'try-hard' but as in genuinely trying hard to do a good job), and then there's also that the game doesn't really reward plainly 'playing well'. Again, on either side.
For killers, only hooks count, for survivors only gens and saves and escapes count, going by what the game rewards both as 'skillful' (MMR) and what gives the most bloodpoints.

If you pay attention to how BHVR writes dev notes, it's always "you" when talking about survivors and "them" when talking about killers. They do not see killers as legitimate players of the game. They exclusively look at things from the survivors' point of view. To that end, no, they do not care if killers have fun.
4 -
A lot of people would say the opposite.
I think if you're in a state to really come to not enjoy the role you're playing, maybe switch it up a bit ? Keep things fresh. Don't drive yourself to a burnout forcing yourself to play a role that is currently unenjoyable.

You sound miserable. Why do you even bother playing?

Bro make sure you stretch after that reach or it'll hurt in a couple hours

No i am not gonna change your mind since you and everyone else using that phrase isn't here to get their mind changed but their opinion validated. Nothing else.

Yeah you'll get 4-man swfs that want to win every match but those are pretty rare. Most of the time troll swfs just circle around the killer to do everything they can to deny you hooks (sabo, head on, flashlights, flashbangs). In those situations, you'll still probably win unless you suck horribly, since gens are progressing very slowly.
It doesn't happen often enough to me for me to feel annoyed. They're just memers. I find them funny.
And to change your mind, I won't. You clearly have made up your mind and won't accept any different perspectives. You're just mad you got both out-skilled and out-played by players who definitely play more than you do. Accept the defeat and move on.

The best advice I can give you is to switch to meme builds on killers you don't play too often when you get frustrated. It softens the blow of losing a bit and sometimes you get unexpected value out of weak perks while also finding a new appreciation for different killers. For example you can try to get the most value out of every addon on a killer by dedicating your build and play style to it.
Something else that can help is stop trying to win the match when you know you won't make a comeback anyway and instead see if you can learn a new trick on your killer. Maybe a new mind game, an animation fake, anything.

I'm the first one to meme around, but sadly even boop the snoot is no longer a must do.

Killers can only really make the game boring for one Survivor. They can't consistently make it boring for all 4. When all 4 Survivors are working toward making the game boring for you, it feels way worse than a Killer who just facecamps you to death. The worst a Killer can do in comparison is slug everyone for 4 minutes which is just really rare and they still need to do really well to make that happen.
I disagree that this game isn't fun for Killers, but I do agree that unless the Killer is playing Nurse or Blight they will in comparison STRUGGLE to make the game as boring as a really good SWF can, or a singular really good Survivor that is part of that SWF that sits on gens perfectly as soon as chase is dropped.

Unfortunately, if killer is balanced for SWF then solo queue survivors get disintegrated. There are strategies you can employ to help, but nothing works every time. However, Lightborn/STBFL/Surge/NWO are pretty reliable for pressure and will help with hook bombing.

This is how it is for me honestly just always going against obvious SwF's is boring beyond belief. It doesn't matter how well you play, how quick you chase and down, as long as the other 3 on comms are all just efficient on gens you just don't win as killer. SwF have a huge advantage and are insanely broken in the current state of the game but nothing has ever been done about them to make it a more fun or at least interesting experience for killer. Even when you beat a strong SwF yeah cool you beat them but that just means your next match is going to be even more obnoxious because your MMR goes up.
People say SwF is fine it's just people playing with their friends, if this is the case then why are they so concerned if the killer was shown if they are going against a SwF or not? Surely if SwF was fine and balanced then there would be no concern if the killer was shown they are against them. Let's be honest if a SwF indicator was implemented how many of you would just dodge going against them as I know I certainly would, the games just become boring.

I love it when survivors play hyper-altruistic. It might be my best chance to win.
Way better than them just holding M1 with Prove Thyself and a spancy toolbox.

One suggestion might be to switch what time of day you play, if you can. I'm east coast NA, and there's a huge difference in gameplay at different times. I generally stop playing killer at all late in the evening, and I refer to it as 'SWF o'clock'. Games aren't fun then.
But early evening it's more solo q survivors and I can mess around, meme, do whatever and still have fun. Sometimes I just want to know that I jump scared someone into a panic.
My biggest recommendation is to not particularly care if you 'win'. I try to play for hooks and fun chases most of the time. If I get too many sweat squads in a row it's time to play something else for a bit.

I’m sorry to tell you but April fools day is pretty far away.

I guess survivors aren't supposed to try and save their teammates? To many players, interacting with the killer is the most fun part of the game unless you really enjoy sitting at generators twiddling your thumbs. The t-bagging is extra unwanted behavior, but everything else is just standard.
You can enjoy the game; just broaden your expectations for what is "fun", it doesn't have to necessarily be a win. Put on a casual/meme build, try out a different killer to learn, meme around with the survivors in a few matches. I legit end up chasing survivors as Ghost Face while crouching down every other second whenever I'm not taking the match seriously because its hilarious from a survivor POV for the killer to just bob up and down stupidly.
