Is this event going to have the same issue as the masquerade event?
So this event IMO seems all over the place. You have to gather this rift stuff then stop playing the game to find an open rift and deposit it. I personally don't understand it therefore I won't really be partaking in it other than to do the tomes however....
It appears that yet again survivors have to escape in order to obtain their cosmetic rewards. This will and is already resulting in very selfish gameplay in end game.
Already I have had 2 games and both games 1 person left 2 people on hook so they could get the exit gate and escape for their cosmetic.
Survivor games are already horrendous enough for solo que but this is going to encourage even less team work just so they can escape surely.

Try being the random in a 3 man SWF, you're staying on the hook for eternity

This is standard even out of the event lol. If i identify a 3man leaving one person behind I go out of my way to kill them and give the solo hatch lol

Was recently told I was "not a team player" when I let go after a 3 man left me on hook. I was running Kindred and wasn't being camped.

Aparently as long as the exit gates are opened when u are alive you get the reward

It does feel a bit unfair that survivors have to escape with it, while killers will by default get the reward just playing normally the endgame. When for most casual players escaping (or even reaching endgame) is rarer than dying....

So what do you have to do?
Do you have to escape?
Be alive when the exit gates are open?
Or just put the points into the rift or whatever it's called?

You just need to collect 30 energy and then deposit in to the void, after that you can die.

You don't have to escape as a survivor, you have to deposit your void energy and then you can be sacrificed.

It actually seems easy. Played a quick survivor game to check it out and just worked on gens then I could see the rift's aura. Ran over and deposited and got my cosmetic after the game. Unless you get tunneled out of a game it's not really that much effort and people shouldn't need to throw a game for it.
