Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Will the new Dwight and Jane outfits be able to be bought with shards eventually?

I know there were a few posts who were concerned about this. I was hoping to get some clarification. The devs have said that they are going to make all original outfits purchasable with shards eventually. Then they released two timed outfits only purchasable with cells. Im down for a bit of exclusivity for some outfits but will they eventually come out in store purchasable with shards? Sometimes I dont have the luxury of having cash to spend and unfortunately this events one of those times. Bills take priority you know?

No, because they're limited time only.

Meaning they're seriously about to start doing this to us, because why in the world would they be limited time only if they would still be available later for shards? What's the point of removing them?

I really hope there's just some clarification to do here.

Its to make some money for giving players early access to a cosmetic. Which I'm ok with so long as we get a chance to get them later. It would be an unbelievably douchy move to just make them a timed exclusive

Next year maybe if they are gonna be like returning. Otherwise nope. We said we were going to have everything accesible with shards well heres a new type of cosmetics that are never gonna reach the month threshold to be shards.

Although currently they're being sold as a limited time offer, the cosmetic may well be made available a ways away in the future.

Nothing is confirmed, which means they could just scrap the cosmetic and never release it again. However, if feedback is good, what would be the good business sense in that? It may not be for some time, but if demand peaks for the cosmetic in future, it wouldn't be hard to put it back on the shelf.
