You need RTX 4090 now or what?
Suddenly the optimization and performance is horrible with the event update. Yesterday played perfectly fine with my rtx 3080 and now it's a stuttery mess with constant hitching.
Bhvr what are you doing??

1080ti
Running at a crisp 60fps, no issues. 4k.
Maybe try rolling back your drivers?

Yesterday played fine. Event dropped. Not fine anymore. No driver updates in between

Guess you're no longer winning 99% of your killer matches?
11 -
60 fps lol xD It's not playable on 60 fps. Try 120 and we talk again.

And you are?

GTX 1080 for me - Also fine at 1080p

Bro was never winning 99% of his matches. 😂
7 -
I win 100% of my matches.
Rather sad to see a 99%'er fall so far, but they usually can't keep up with us 100%'ers and flood the forums with excuses.

im on a 1070 and its running fine, did you update your driver? Do you remember which map caused the stutter?

Have you uncapped your framerate? I have a 60 hz monitor but for some reason my fps never goes lower than 80 when uncapped, but can go down to 50 when capped.

I got stuttering yesterday too but it was because Windows updates was eating all my HDD function to 100 % even when i play the game on another drive... Windows updates are a pain in the ass, maybe something similar happened to you.

Yes

120FPS @ 1440p Ultra. It’s something on your end the last few patch the performance been steady on all map.

First world problems lol. My 1060 is doing fine. Unless you mean Uncapped framerate, which the game isn't designed for. Lot of past bugs were due to uncapping framerate, like falling through the map.

I wasn't the one who claimed I was :)

Guess you need a new gaming chair.
JK. You might look into your hard disk usage. DBD seems to use sometimes up to 150 mb/s reading for me.

3070 - 80 fps and my graphicard gets bored.
You also need a solid cpu especially if you run 3rd party tools to optimize the game's graphics. Also very important is RAM. DbD quickly starts using about 10-15% of my full ram space (32gb). That's alot. But I also use a tool to clean it up from time to time, causing to stutter if I do this during a match or right before it starts.
DbD isn't just about a good gpu. also keep your pc clean. uninstall unnessecary games/programms. Check your storage space. Clean up your registry via ccleaner (free). Defragment your hard disk via the windows tool. The usual stuff. Also check your NVIDIA settings. You really don't need to crank everything up. Sometimes the wrong setting can cause the game to rubber band. But which setting causes this idk.

I dont know i have a 2060 super and have no problems on survivor or killer(I play nurse mostly). 120fps ultra settings no problems.

I was thinking the same thing. My Xbox1 struggles to maintain 30 fps, and maps can drop it even further, like into the teens in the middle room on Lery's.

The devs have already given up on getting my Xbox1 to a steady 60 frames. It often runs around 30 fps and worse on certain maps.
Borrow a friend's PS4 or whatever and give DBD a go! Maybe share with us the experience.

If you're having problems with fps drops since the Event started (Event specifically) please can you let me know here - things like platform, tech specs if PC etc.

I've been on a GTX 6GB 1660 and that's perfectly fine at 60fps on low with filters to improve graphics and countercorrect for a bad monitor + bad eyesight. Maybe it's on your end.

yup as a 3080 owner can confirm

we're all having fps problems since 2021 and there has been little to none improvement

120 FPS 1660 TI GTX, nothing wrong with my game, I only start to lag if the game is open to long which a quick restart will fix

I also have the same issue on PC with RTX 3080 ti - intel 12900k - 32gb ram @ 3200mhz - 1TB nvme SSD - 4k and 1440 120 fps

I have problems since the evence, micro stuttering/ random frame drops while running with the survivor.
Platform: PC
GPU: NVIDIA 2060 SUPER
CPU i5-8400
Before the event i NEVER had a single problem, please look into it

I had issues since pinhead and dredge came out, but my machine isn't really made for gaming, still it got worse since the event.
Platform : PC (Lenovo Laptop, IdeaPad C340)
CPU i5-1035G1 (8 CPUs a 1Ghz)
8gb ram
directx12
intel uhd 4gb graphics
(as said, not much a gaming thing)

That Intel UHD graphics card is what it is, they're integrated and can't be upgraded on your laptop, you need a desktop where you have the option to upgrade or add a graphics card, on that laptop I'll guarantee you're on the lowest settings and out of full screen mode just to make it run properly, I would look into some cheaper gaming PCs they really aren't that bad and you could get one for the same as you paid for the laptop that you can upgrade over time
