Flashlight on console

I admit that i dont use flashlight too much, mainly only for challenges. So i was wondering, do flashlight have aim assist on console? If someone knows i wish you could tell me, also some tips on how to use them on console.

I am really bad with them.

I play on a controller on PC though, and flashlights are so hard to use. God knows how many flashlights I've lost trying to learn it but it requires a lot of preparation, you need to start positioning your camera before you decide to blind, as well as position yourself to help you out. I haven't tried the new flashlights yet but on the old ones I'd make sure I hid killer with my body (on my camera like after pallet) and probably my head was in the middle of the screen hiding theirs(?) and after I'd just press the flashlight button. It's too hard to flashlight and guide it, so I tried to adapt by getting the correct position of the hand before hand, pun not intended).

I play female survivors so it might be a bit different on male survivors.

I never got it consistently and it doesn't help that flashlights are limited (and most of the times they are imo less reliable than other items to win). Don't even ask about flashlight saves.

I'd like to train on custom but you need a decent environment that can simulate a real game. Think I'll wait once they fix the current bug after their rework.

No aim assist. Though you dont need it, the beam is always center screen and pretty forgiving.

All you need to do is learn the timing/part of the animation to start blinding (on basic killers its roughly as their butt passes the killers shoulder )

The main problem is that of you want to run a high sensitivity for movement it makes the flashlight significantly harder to aim & make micro adjustments. They really should have a separate slider sensitivity for all aiming on both killer & survivor on console.

Position yourself with the killers head in the middle of your screen. when you click the flashlight it will be right no him.
