Ah yes, that streamer. The same streamer who puts Nurse at C tier.

Killer isn't op if you know how to play. If you lose as survivor it's mostly because you have clueless people in your team.

He doesn't camp or tunnel all the time. He does that sometimes to get reactions from the players and then have something funny to laugh about in chat.
It doesn't matter if he camps/tunnels or not, he still stomps all games and has a valid point to say that. I don't camp tunnel and have same experience.

He's a killer main (wraith) and said that. Has nothing to do with survivor performance

Who?

They really aren't and just because some streamer shares his subjective opinion, it does not make it so.
Today I have had several killers DC because they were getting stomped, two of them were Nurses btw

He is a person that plays the game for a living and you are the miraculous "99%" winner.

Your argument is intellectually lazy. You're taking the word of a streamer with over 6,000 hours that plays for a living as gospel. That is in no way representative of the average killer player. A large amount of killer players are console. They are effectively locked out of being good with many killers (Huntress, Trickster, Wesker, etc.) including the two best in the game (Nurse, Blight) besides some rare exceptions. It's not a great argument of balance to say "just put in 5,000+ hours and develop great gamesense and mechanical skill and you can win most games besides against the sweatiest teams" because the average killer players are getting dominated by sentient survivors that know to prioritize gens. It's seriously not hard at all to win as survivor in a team, you don't even need to be good. As long as you know to sit on gens while staying split up, you can win against most killers in this game because of how fast gen/heal speeds are. The maps are so safe and have so many pallets that your teammates can snap throw them and it won't be an issue as long as the team does gens

Hexy is obsessed with "winning" no matter what. To him, it is logical to play as nasty as you can to get the 4k as he has no empathy. He is a very good killer but mostly plays Wraith over and over and hook trades or 3 gens are his preferred strats. If you have someone with thousands and thousands of hours play the most simple killer in the nastiest way possible he will be "overpowered" in most matches.

The game isn't balanced for solo queue; you're better off abandoning this game for another unless you prefer killer or finding a group of four for your sanity.

“Mr. Streamer man said it so it must be true”
Can we as a playerbase actually form our own opinions?

Not according to the official stats.
3 -
Its not balanced for SWF either

I have to also say that I feel killers are more where they should be now than they were before. I recently returned from a long break and before I left it took forever to find survivor games other than at 3am or during the day when most people work. Nobody wanted to play killer including me, the game was so survivor sided and the DH meta was making the game a misery for killers.
I love that more people want to play killer now and the frustratingly long wait for survivor games is a thing of the past. I just wish tunnelling off hook and camping at 5 gens wasn't as common as it seems to be these days

who is this guy and why should I care about his opinion
and what is this black and white statement? It's more like "nurse and blight are op" as opposed to "killer is op." Clown op??? Myers op??? Doctor op??? Sadako op??? Not everyone is having a cakewalk with nurse and blight, I still get stomped by predroppers when I play weak killers.

Whether they are op or not…I don’t like how some of the survivors’ perks are disabled at end game, but killers are not. If you have put in the hours to unlock a perk, you should be able to use it when needed.

He really took something that Hexy said seriously...😑

The devs just released the latest kill rates, so this post is completely invalid.

While I do agree that killers are probably a smidge overpowered in the game right now, it's a smidge at the very best. At least when you have survivors and killers who actually know what they're doing.
Although as normal, survivors who REALLY know what they're doing are the OP ones but short of a Seal Team SWF Squad, getting four survivors who have that kind of skill level in the same squad is an exception, not the rule.

I don't watch Hexy often but I think when he says he's a killer main it's very tongue in cheek because of posts like this.

No, they are not. Soon the killrates will drop dramatically after Unbreakable-Basekit comes live. A lot of kills results in the Endgame Collapse thanks to a lot of slugging and thanks to a lot of Altruism by the survivor-teams.
Best example: One is hooked, all gens are done, so the killer facecamps the hook (of course, what else should he do?), then he manages to grab a survivor and drops him to secure at least a 2K, sometimes I get a 3 or even a 4K with this in the endgame with 4 hooks before the Endgame begins. This Major-Killrate-Booster-Strategy will die and so all killrates will go down at least 5% or even more, so killers are - on average - maybe at 55% and thats totally fine.

I would love to see the actual kill rates. You know, without survivors killing themselves on first hook, giving up or actively killing their team. I can tell you the numbers would be a quite a bit lower.
Hexy is wrong about this and that's obvious, looking at the kill rates.

Unbreakable-lite basekit change will have not even close to the impact you think it will.
At most it will prompt a change to the Unbreakable perk itself as it might make self-pickup a little too quick.

B-b-but Otz said!!!11!!

Huh, funny. Last time I shared my experience everyone was talking about impossible it is because of otzdarva.
Funny, really funnny.

That's my own opinion and experience aswell. Why so mad?

61% kill rate? Ok hahaha

Skill issue, not balance issue. Don't mix them up

He said it since 6.1 patch. And since the patch he nearly never lost a game.

I actually watch hexy a lot, and man he plays against people who have no idea how dbd works, and by the time he faces a misdly decent team he wins merely by map rng or loses and ignores the loss which albeit its an inside joke.
Point is as someone who watches him since a pretty good time, he plays against people who are really bad at the game, its not an issue of balance but of matchmaking.

The same guy who threw a fit with SBMM and wanted to quit killer because of it? Then one slight change it's now killer OP?
Seems like the guy just jumps all over the place, though maybe hes low mmr where the killer is strong but that's because survivors are so slow on gens not that killers are strong
1 -
haha nah never... if MMR works realy well and good player match togehter, then you will see Killers need more Buffs except Nurse and Blight
but high Killrate are possibly bc, good player match with bad player and he cant obviously carry them all, if he survive for minuts in the chase and hes mate dosent do gens and hiding in the map corner, or he do gens but hes mate do 10sec chases ofc the bad killers get a ez 4k
Bad Matchmaking = Killers are OPOP
Good Matchmaking = all Killer need a Buff except Nurse and Blight

Are you the streamer called dude puma d ace?
0 -
You know what 61% kill rate means, yes?
2 kills would be 50% kill rate and 3 kills 75% kill rate. So 61% kill rate means that a killer gets between 2 and 3 kills per match. Being closer to 2 kills than 3.

Exactly, I too get awfull survivors, the average survivor player has no idea how to play this game, the fact that I can win as addonless nerfed slinger shows my opponents are not competent enough, im not facing different survivors, they are as bad as the ones hexy verse.
