Dredge Darkness
Are there any plans to do something about this? The darkness makes going against dredge one of the worst experiences in the game.
He's already got map pressure by teleporting to lockers, which also prevents survivors from hiding, and has the anti-loop ability. Does he need the darkness as well?
Instead of darkness, they could bring back the fog making it difficult to see objects without making you completely blind. Obviously fog would make it harder for the dredge to see survivors so it wouldn't apply to him.

I doubt the devs are going to redesign a relatively new killer, just because a handful of survivors complain part of his power is "unfun'

Dredge darkness is one of the worst things to go against in the game? Really? In a game with starstruck agi nurse, iri head camping huntress, alch ring blight? The thing that makes it dark for a bit maybe three times a match is a problem?
Dredge doesn't even rate. Windows counters it almost entirely.

When the developers of this game try to bring something new :
People complain.
If the developers do nothing : People complain.

Guess the only course of action is to delete the game
No more complaints then

That's very broad statement lol. I'm all for the devs trying new things, doesn't mean I'm always going to like it.

I would much rather go against all of those, because at least I can see where I'm going.
Walking around in darkness just isn't fun. Even with windows I can't see a thing other than the auras of windows and and pallets.

Well, how I think you're exaggerating about the Dredge's night mode.

Give it a few games. You will get used to it to the point you no longer realize the screen is so dark. TBH at my current state progressed deep wound make me see much less then dredge darkness. And I saw 0 complaints about deep wounds brightness (I am also not complaining)
