How many people

How many people can honestly say they have never used DH or DS? I'll go first me. I am terrible at hard skill checks so I won't use DS. And DH well I'm terrible with timing so won't use it. Be honest. This is a fun thread not a mean thread as I am really curious who don't.

I don't use DS because I would prefer other perks since I'm mostly solo queue and I feel it has bad synergy with my teammates. Also, I don't use DH because I notice alot of killers seem to wait for me to use it in most of my games so I currently get more use out of NOT using it then using it and playing into their wait in a possibly wrong way.

I rarely used both before the nerfs, and I use them even less now. I tend to naturally flock away from anything that is Meta- especially if a character themself is a meta character. I actually hate those chars because players only pick them for an advantage- especially switching to said chars when they’re losing. Same goes for perks. Funny enough, the rare times I played killer before the nerfs, those perks never really bothered me. I rarely tunneled so DH was ineffective against me, and I would always bait out DH. I actually have a harder time baiting out this new DH because so few ppl use it now, I keep forgetting to wait it out.

I didn't realize some characters were meta. Shows what I know.

I've never used either of these. I started playing as Meg and my first exhaustion perk was Sprint Burst, but then I switched to Lithe because I like the combo of Lithe and Dance With Me.

I used DH a little bit in my early days, but I've long since stopped since I don't want my chase to be reliant on exhaustion perks.

And I've basically never used DS because it was always that perk. And even after it was made reasonable, I didn't want to train my brain to make stupid plays just to make sure I got my value out of DS.

Aaand then they nuked it, so.

I've never really wanted to use DH, because I'm bad with reads and new DH just emphasizes that aspect more vs using it for distance. DS, I throw on for stun challenges now mostly; anytime I've tried to use it as its intended purpose of anti-tunneling I never really got much distance to get away on my own.

I don't use DH anymore since the nerf, but used it everygame before that.

I used DS when it was first released and I was new to the game but quickly dropped it as I got better at chases.

Used to use DS before OTR basically became the better DS

Never use exhaustion perks in the first place so DH is off the table

I used old DS and Dead Hard in when i went for my adepts and never again until the meta shake up. New dead hard is such a fantastic perk and I like to couple it with MoM. The old version felt boring to me so i never used it.

I usually now throw DS onto a full stun build (blast mine, head on) only when i have a stun challenge.

Funny that the meta shake up ended up making me run these perks more when they were originally my two least ran perks.

I mean claudette. Someone who can hide that easily is often used for an advantage. Put dark clothes on her and she can be a nightmare to spot on maps like dead dawg and swamp if she hides in a bush.

I'm an old school balanced landing user but nowadays I just randomly switch between mostly everything but dead hard, and I haven't used DS consistently since it used to work immediately on first down, my most used exhaustion perk is either adrenaline or head on I'd say, also I've been running reactive healing with a ranger medkit it's ridiculous how good that perk is, the killer hits two people and you can just tap yourself healed pretty much

Not in this game. I meant other games like FPS (Overwatch) or fighting games (Mortal Kombat).

I've used each a little, but im speaking like max 5 matches with each. I dont like deadhard, I prefer to escape and evade rather than take hits, and Decisive Strike is only useful in matches where its not equipped, if you get what im saying

I can't say never, but neither of them have ever been part of my normal builds!

Me, maybe once each just to know how they worked, but literally no more than once

never used would be a blatant lie since dead hard was also present in the tomes... usually those perks won't ever see the light of the day (maybe a little exception for DS because i could have the goal to stun the killer or if i'm constantly putted aganist "tunneling" killers)

In a regular build? Nope. I've found other perks way more useful for my playstyle.

To get Adept, complete tome challenges that says to use them, or to do a tome stun challenge? Yup.

I didn't really play survivor at all and never used dh pre patch. Now I do both.

I used DH in less than 1% of my matches prior to its nerf. I do use it sometimes now, but still not often.

DS is pretty bad now so I don't use it much anymore, but I used to. Now if I want anti-tunnel I'll usually just use OTR.

I used DH only for the challenges requiring it, never liked it for it was inconsistent even at the peak of its power.

I rarely used DS either, if you got tunneled you had value, if you didnt you wasted a slot perk and since the first person to get hooked is almost always the one who gets tunneled and Im rarely the first one going down my odds of using it are slim.

I can't say never, but they never have been in my permanent build. I'm the type of survivor to get away from chase, not prolong it, My exhaustion perk of choice is Lithe/Overcome, and DS never appealed to me, because with my "avoid the killer" playstyle, i never got any value off it, and i'm not the type of person to try to force it, just to cry later I got tunneled out (like some people).

I used OTR even before it's buff, the aura distortion and noise suppression is perfect

The only endurance perk ive used and still use is Lithe. Never used DH or DS.
