Worse than the killer slugging for the 4k
When the killer lets the 2nd remaining survivor wiggle free so they can rat you out, having seen your aura while carried.
Reporting them does nothing
Can I hide my aura? Remove idle crows when there are only 2 survivors so I can use lockers to block my aura? Something...
The killer destroys your team, but oh-- if you didn't get hooked your fair share, or if you decide to hop off gens and wait for hatch too soon... the others turn against you and the killer ges their free 4k by coercing the other survivor into breaking the fogging rules. If they can't escape, no one escapes.
Please fix this. You can start by making solo q bearable

I played so many matches where I wanted to quit, but I didn't. Then this sh happens. Now I have a 1 hour ban. Not the players who went out of their way to screw me over

I agree. this design flaw is one of the worst things in the game. toxic killers forcing survivors to help them find last player and avoid the hatch spawn.

There are so many ways to sandbag, be toxic, or make the opposing side miserable in this game. Too bad the devs are quite slow at remedying that.

it's like the game is built around it. a lot of games have been called griefing simulators in the past, but i think dead by daylight has to be the absolute king of griefing sims. this is why i think i'm probably about done with this game

I don't understand rats, what filthy mind they have? It is worse than camping as killer. I met some of those, pathetic. But also I met normal people. Two didn't rat me out and was just doing gens. One time I was forced to be rat, but I pretend to be dumb and just walk after killer, then started doing gens.

I'll never get why survs do this in these "only 2 survs left situations". Working with the killer so everybody dies. This is a team based game, makes no sense. Also it's against the rules, you can report this.
If you really want to win (either through hatch or gates), don't go for the last hooked or slugged surv. If they're good, they'll understand that the killer is just waiting for that to get either you or both killed. And i wouldn't call out survs, esp. not when they were good team mates before.
Btw, do we know if aura hiding perks like Lone Survivor work on survs aswell? Guess not.

Ummm... This really isnt something you can put on toxic killers, this is survivor on survivor violence.

Still getting a 1 hour ban from this seems silly on your part. Lets say they DID rat you out... you could most of the time be out the game in 20 seconds unless for some reason you were never hooked.

Unfortunately no, Sole Survivor doesn't work on other survivors.

Supposedly it’s considered griefing (survivor working with killer) and is punishable. But like so much else in this game, BHVR is unlikely to enforce it. Even with video evidence.

It’s fun when a survivor blocks the gate and won’t open it too. Ppl can be asshats.

You need to quit quite a few times (after waiting out each previous ban) to get a 1- hour ban

I'm nearing 2200 hours as a 95-5 survivor main. I legit do not see this. The only time I see someone trying to help the killer kill the 4th is if the 4th was the reason for the lost game. Like he's the one that popped us into a 3-gen and then refused to pressure any of the three gens, just hiding while we all slowly whittled away through attrition of resources. As killer, if I can tell one of them is sandbagging the team, you better believe I'll try and make sure they're the dead one and not the person that was trying.

The hard truth is that if you were repairing the last gen when the 2nd is being carried, he would not betray you and would try to buy as much time as possible so you two can escape.

Forcing? Where's the coercion? The killer can't force the survs to do this, it's more of a surv doing whatever they can to get out.
Dying is always an option. If the killer lets you wiggle free, start working on an objective and the killer will either have to eventually kill you or allow you to continue and escape. No one's forcing anyone to rat anyone else out; if a surv rats a teammate out, that's not some kind of killer flaw, it a bad teammate problem.
I would say the flip side of this, the last two survs hiding for 20 minutes, is just as much BS.
Not to mention that this rarely actually happens.

Yeah, it's against the rules and I wouldn't do it, but if one surv is caught while working on objectives and the other has been hiding in hopes of hatch...well lets just say I don't have much sympathy if the hider gets ratted out.

Yes, there were several matches prior where I wanted to quit, but I knew I had a 1-hour ban waiting for me if I did, so I stuck those matches out. This time was too infuriating to hold back. The survivor griefing me felt justified in doing it, but I felt misunderstood.
From their perspective, they only saw me work on gens for a few moments, climb into a locker every time someone went down, and never rescue anybody from the hook.
From my perspective, Distortion activated when someone got hooked far away. I knew the Oni had BBQ and I knew they had the addon that makes blood orbs reveal auras, but no one else did. They were not using lockers or hook proximity to shut down the BBQ momentum, nor avoiding the blood orbs. The Oni had it too easy and they kept dropping left and right, affording me no time to work on gens or get hook rescues. Plus I spent time trying to get my Distortion tokens back after they were chewed through.
I knew the match was falling apart and the best I could do was hope for hatch. It worked, until there was only one survivor left, and then they made sure it didn't. Leaving your team to die is not against the rules. Working with the killer to get them killed is. The 1-hour ban was 100% on me, but it just sucks knowing nothing will ever happen to players like this.
