NightLight cannot possibly know the extent of all the played matches, though. I doubt even half of the playerbase knows what NightLight is, let alone record their matches on there.

It's the closest we get to having actual stats and i doubt the Pickrates are insanely off, it actually makes a lot of sense to see both nurse and blight hover 5% pickrate each (or less with more killers being added)

This is 2019 data, because this was the only time I remembered the devs ever giving us data on SWF.
Solo players make up around 50% of all parties. You're definitely facing swf more often than 10% of the time when SWF makes up 50% of all queueing parties. And I really doubt solo has gotten more popular since 2019.

Nurse and Blight in all MMRs have a pick rate of around 9% and in top MMR it was around 10%. Note, this was also wesker's release month and Wesker meaning their overall pickrate could be higher.

Blight’s sliding isn’t a bug. The Blight dev purposely added a secondary collision system, that allows Blight to slide.
The hug tech bug is a very specific scenario, where Blight is allowed to activate his M2 power, while facing an object that he is directly up against.

A screenshot without any real context for the game itself doesn't really indicate he's strong or weak.
Like, the Yui with 3k points. She clearly scored really low compared to everyone else, but there's no context as to *why*
Did she kill herself on hook? Did she get tunnelled to death? Was she left on hook by her teammates? Did she crouch in a corner the whole game? Were you so insane at Blight the she just couldn't do anything? Was she always chased in a deadzone?
From that screenshot alone, there's no way for us to tell.
Same thing for the 4k. We can see Blight 4k'ed, but the screenshot can't show us *why*.
I'm not saying you're right or wrong about Blight, just that a screenshot of a 4k doesn't prove much by itself.

You’re defining hug tech incorrectly. Hug tech is a bug, but it doesn’t involve every single instance of Blight’s sliding.

So 75% of games are solo or 2 man swf. The only serious swfs that make life hard for killers are 3-4 man and I’ve played enough 3 man swfs that I know that one guy makes a huge difference. Matchmaking still sucks and we generally get a moron 4th player that either does nothing or does everything wrong. Looks like 5% of games were 4 man swf. So yeah…
I’m just done with Blight and with BHVR’s lack of concern for survivors dealing with OP BS. Unless the blight is a baby and at least somewhat fair to play against he gets the 4% treatment every time. Next game.

Also what coffee crashing is referring to is not the hug tech. Sliding is not a bug, and more specifically the scoot slide is not a bug. Looking down when your model is up against collision and negating it is the hug tech. Sliding off of shack or rad car or the tarp on some shacks because you looked down during your rush is intended by the guy who made blight

Behavior representative said it's not intended so it's not intended, doesn't matter what a dev said. The product owners tell the devs what to build, the devs just build it. If the devs added something that wasn't intended by the product owner, then it's a bug.

Please man, read. I am not talking about the hug tech, I am talking about sliding in general and the scoot slide which does not have anything to do with the hug tech. For example shacks on a lot of maps simply don't have collision, so you can slide around them without any input besides angling from the blight. Scoot sliding simply allows you to get closer to an object while rushing, not ignore it's collision entirely. Tbh with you, it's been what 8 months? The hug tech is most likely not going to get removed. They fixed some random bug with c33 and pallets that had no function on the game in one patch.

no my friend. thanks to insanely bad matchmaking making solo queue a sh*tshow, most games are losses. Even when you get a weak killer you always have that weak team so you lose. the difference is that with Nurse and Blight it's laughable what a slaughter it is.
you killers are so out of touch and spoiled... but hey... keep running those OP killers with OP builds and proxy camping and tunnelling against weak solo teams... then slug for your 4k... those wins mean you're good!!

He could use some addon nerfs and bug fixes. His basekit is already not that really good and he shouldnt be nerfed so hard like Billy or Freddy.

He dont need nerf at all, still pretty possible to go against him, just learn him, it takes a bit of effort instead of playing braindead against a m1 killer like Pig and wraith, but so is to Play blight.
