Killer aura reading perk idea
Before thinking about this, I did put the nurse in my mind, but lets be real, most of the aura reading killer perks in the game were designed without the nurse in mind (cough *Awakened Awareness* cough)
But what do you guys think of an aura reading perk, where similar to Lethal Pursuer and Merciless Storm, once per gen, you see the auras of the survivor near it within a certain radius for 7/8/9 seconds. The secondary effect (the lethal pursuer part kicks in), whenever you see the aura of the survivor, you are granted the Undetectable status effect for the entire duration of the aura reading.

I mean theres plenty of perks in the game where combo'd together, is steroids

No, no thank you. Killers have more than enough Aura Reading Perks. I hope the devs stop with these types of perks for a good long while. We don't need to completely remove stealth play from the game. Not all of us are top tier loopers.

Reminds me of a funny idea I had the other day : since survivors have Windows of Opportunity and killers have Zenshin Tactics, it would be funny to make a killer version of some survivor perks
Namely : Object of Obsession, but for killer
Whenever a survivor sees you, you see them. (I wouldn't put in the part where every 30 seconds killer's aura is revealed to everyone because it would be cracked, but we could find a second effect to make it work even if survivors don't have aura perks)
It would hard counter Kindred / Wiretap but I thought it was a fun concept

OoO is whenever the killer sees you, you see them (+shows your aura every 30 secs)
This would be something similar but for killer, like if you're breaking something and a survivor sees your aura with Alert, you would see their aura at the same time

Tinkerer is still a pretty popular perk even with its recent nerf. I wouldnt count on seeing a buff any time soon.

That would seem situational as a standalone, but like you said about the secondary effect, it would have to be pretty damn nutty to be considered in somebodys build

I have a build on one of my survivors that helps track the killer without reading their aura (since most stealth killers have no aura to see).
Premonition, Rookie Spirit, Empathy, Any Means Necessary

Oh that sounds like such a nice build ! I think Rookie Spirit is underrated.

I ended up switching out Premonition for Lightweight since I found myself running across the map to stop a critical gen from regressing, or running to reset a pallet the killer left during a chase, or healing a teammate if we don't have Circle of Booning up.
It made working on gens a little unsafer at the start, but after I got my 3 skill checks for Rookie Spirit, I would either know it was safe to work on gens thanks to the other 3 perks, or I was too busy running around helping out to be caught on a gen.

where did you get that info? the dev post a stat review on 6.1.0.
The popular perks were following: Sloppy Butcher, Save the Best for Last, Overcharge, Thanatophobia, Call of Brine, Hex: No One Escapes Death, and Corrupt Intervention. BBQ/, SC:pain res and Jolt are new top 3.
Tinkerer was only used to mix-max hex:ruin. they nerfed tinkerer pretty badly. According to nightlight, it has 2% play-rate though dev never disclosed the charts post 6.1.0. just a brief summary.
