Reverse Bear Traps.
I want to preface this by saying I'm in no way saying Pig is an OP killer. Im not even saying she's a strong killer. My issue is that Pig's traps can put you in an unwinnable situation as solo-survivor and it just kinda feels kinda crappy.
I was playing against a Pig on Sanctum of Wrath and she had the usual Tampered Timer+Crate of Gears combo. I ended up having to check four jigsaw boxes to get my trap off, and because I was chased off a box once, that meant I literally had no time to check all four. A gen popped while I was on the hook and the second I was unhooked I ran in a straight line between all the boxes, instantly started doing them, missed no skill checks, actually got a couple Great skill checks, and still I couldn't even get to my fourth box before I died.
Now I know the counter to this is to 99 gens until the person with the trap has checked a couple boxes at least, but in solo queue that just very rarely happens. And when it doesn't happen and you're on a large map, or the pig finds you on a box even once, you're dead.
I don't really know what to do about this, I know that Crate of Gears and Tampered Timer have already been nerfed once before, but maybe they should just rework one of them so the combo doesn't exist.

Okay I will stop at reading the first part of your post. I bet you ask for nerfing her RNG / Traps kill potential because sometimes you are unlucky or something.

Bad RNG meaning that a survivor literally just dies is an issue though.

Yesterday i died to a reverse trap.
It is the worst when you got three attempts wrong and the pig is waiting for you at the remaining two stations.

If it is sometimes I don't think it's a big problem. She has (almost) no chase power and only delay power. If they nerf that and make it bad RNG for the pig again like before... why would you bother playing her anymore lol.

And with most combinations of addons I don't even think this is an issue. Heck old Tampered Timer paired with any other addon was fine. Crate/Bag of Gears paired with other addons was fine. The issue is when you run Timer and Gears together, it just creates unwinnable situations for survivors.

I'm not saying change the RNG. I love that they made her traps more consistant and guaranteed solid slowdown, it's great, it's a good change. My issue is the combo of Tampered Timer and Crate of Gears can make it so even if a survivor plays absolutely flawlessly, they can still die, and there's nothing they could have done to survive.

Yes, agreed. It's just the addon combo of Tampered Timer + Gears that is a little ridiculous.

Eh. Tampered Timer is still a BS-Add On and should not exist.

They should just make it so using one of those add-ons prevents you from using the other. Either like a Killswitch effect or just that only one will work - they used to make certain add-ons not stack in the past and Iri Head + Infantry Belt currently works in a similar manner.
Tampered Timer and Crate of Gears are both fine add-ons, they're only problematic when combined.

That works fine, though personally I'd prefer if they just change one so they can still be run together. Maybe the Gears could do something nasty while someone's trap is inactive, so that Pig has an option to punish groups that 99 gens.
