To people upset about locker saves
Locker saves require skill, and are uncounterable at higher levels.
You know who else is? Nurse.

Yeah, I've already heard someone make that argument verbatim and had to point out the inherent hypocrisy. "It doesn't matter that you can't do anything about it because the other player had to git gud" does not make for good game design.
Locker saves weren't even that skilled to begin with.

The SWF bully squads gotta be toned a bit here, can’t have survivors using exploits like that.

At least Nurse is intended

I thought locker saves were intended at first. Or are you referring to something else?

Saving someone from a locker was probably intended, but the thing where two survivors jump into side-by-side lockers and spring out to save whoever gets grabbed definitely wasn't.

Both are bad for game health

Locker save is intended for me. Double locker is a difference story...Especially Dredge makes lockers come in double.

Double locker spam saving is like a safe zone in chasies. Its cheap and used by that kid kyle on the playground no one likes to play with.

I don’t get why they have to get rid of all locker saves. Why not remove the double lockers situation? Because in the case where there is only one locker the killer can definitely do something.
For the record I personally never used this but I think that if you have a legit angle it shouldn’t matter whether they were pulled out of a locker or were picked up. Now it’s just the reserve and survivors have guaranteed immunity. So weird how they come up with these design choices.

Wouldn't they then not also have to do something about dredge, when they remove double lockers?
They increased the number to tune down their power and give survivor double the counter against the teleport, iirc by always forcing dredge into the locked locker so survivor can save resources by lockinf on of the double at a time.

Having more lockers is good.
it's good for reload killers, it's great for survs to have more options to hide.
What it is, is just more swf b.s forcing the devs to fix crap that gets exploited, like this, like hooks in rpd, and soon hooks in school basement. Im sure they would rather use time and bandwith to bring us new stuff.

You know what else takes skill? Counterplaying nurse

They plan to remove locker saves to fix an exploit. They already fixed quite a few exploits and this won't be the last.

I’m not taking the fact that it was mostly used under those “sweaty” “exploitable” circumstances away… what I am saying is like when the killer picks up a survivor there is usually a time during the animation where a killer cannot look away. So why not give it the same treatment? Allow killers to be able to look away instead of giving them a flat 100% immunity.

That was kind of my thought too. I can't say that I'm too bothered by it, because the angles always seemed a little bogus to me, but OTOH you're completely right that for single locker scenarios, the killer wasn't helpless.
They could have made it so that you can't use an item for a second or two after exiting a locker rather than removing locker blinds entirely. And it's not the first time they've done weird and damaging solutions to problems when something much simpler was possible.

Are you defending exploits on the official forums??
And compares bug abuse with a legit killer??

At least nurse is intended

This is like when killer mains were defending being able to bodyblock the basement steps just because they placed someone in the basement.
(for those unaware, you literally werent able to move past the killer if they were on the steps, forcing 1 kill, or 2 kills if egc started)
Just because it is possible, does not make it okay. Nurse included.

The reason it's an effective argument is because most of the people who were claiming locker saves were fair and shouldn't have been removed also hated Nurse and thought she was unfair.

I hate nurse too, but i rarely meet her. And i would not cheat because i dont like 1 killer (or more for that fact).

Personally I've never been in that situation, but according to some vids that I watched, this is indeed a "tactic" with no counterplay. Killer can't do anything but leave these 2 survivors.
Any tactics that have no counterplay should be removed.
"Again with Nurse..."
Nurse have a counterplay.

So lets punish the killer mains that don't main nurse because around 5% of players pick that killer while flashlight saves can be set up in like 100% of games? This is literal hypocrisy... Survivor mains hate Nurse yet want to balance everything around her effectively forcing every killer player to pick her up...

whataboutism with nurse is getting kinda pathetic.
