I understand what BHVR wants to do. However
BHVR is a company and must seek profit.
Dead by Daylight's success was a big fire, but it's already been reduced to ashes.
All they can do is keep the ashes warm or seek new fire.
They are looking for new fires and developing new games.
Unfortunately, many users, including myself, don't expect anything other than Dead by Daylight from BHVR.
As an update to Dead by Daylight it does superficial performance but doesn't address the underlying issues (it seems they don't think it has anything to do with profit)
If we don't fix a variety of underlying problems, like a wall with layers of paint, everything will eventually peel off and fall apart.
I hope BHVR understands that.

No one knows what you're referring since you never refer to what it is about the game that isn't up to snuff for you.

I'm still trying to fogure whether this post is actually a troll post or not. Feels like a spoof of what someone would write when they are clqiming the game is dying, when it is very clearly not.
If this is a spoof, I feel this is a rather unique and clever way of making something odd. If this is the case, I applaud you!
If it isn't though, it comes across as trying to make a point by being clever, when it actually ends up anjumbled mess. I get the basic premise, but it's way too broad a scope, and doesn't offer anything constructive.
I'm hoping it's the former, because if it is a spoof I do get it.

I don't think you understand as much as you think you do

BHVR/Behaviour Interactive is a large company who has always made games, this is the companies 30th year for example so it's a long standing company. There will always be other games that we work on, our own games and games for hire for other companies...none of that affects Dead by Daylight in any way, as the DbD Team only works on DbD for the most part, resources etc are not removed from DbD for any of these other games.

The beginning of the thread sounds like an intro of a Dark Souls game

Dead by Daylight’s userbase is pretty constant, hardly “reduced to ashes”. Here’s the Steam charts for instance over its lifetime, it’s hovered around in the 30-50k basically the whole time, periodically spiking around 100k at some big events.
