you know unlike survivors threating to leave the game and not leaving, but just killing themselves on hook for simply getting down once and ruining the game for everyone else
killers do actually leave, just go back to when circle of healing was released
and currently gen rushing is become a giant problem....and BHVR added even more ways to gen rush...
I'm not sure what's going on, people complain about camping and gen rushing and they added a chapter that literally does that
the killer can camp with his knights and the survivor has gen rushing perks
unless we are tying to make ghostfaces extinct again, things need to get changed, just stop releasing chapters and fix the major issues im very sure a lot of people won't mind going with a chapter for 4 months, and its not like the new killer gets played after the first week anyways

no its always just simple just hide or lose chase

Gen-Rushing Perks? Potential Energy makes Gens take slower. And with the quality of the average Survivor, you will see Survivors who use this Perk, store their Gen-Progress and lose it right after that...
And while Quick Gambit increases the Genspeed if you are near Generators being repaired, it will always be more beneficial to just go where no Generators/only completed Generators are. The Perk is not really good.

yea its standing and it also never hit above 100k for 6 years....in steam at least and im not saying its dead, because console players exist
but the fact that it never reached above 100k in one platform says a lot for a game with so much iconic killers

I mean, when I am at a gen that's totally out of the loop and the killer shows no sign of hauling their ass over to me, I could totally see myself staving off that gens completion by a while and then drop a 20% injection to the gen in the middle of the map.

Survivor can be as stressful to win. Killer is more stressful usually but does that make survivor unstressful? Definetely not. But that all debends how you play if you want to win every game as killer and reach iri grade 1 and fear depipping it's very stressful compared to someone who just plays for fun.

It does mean something. It's not just that accurate for individual killers which i didn't bring up. The general stats are however give a good if basic idea on the balance of the game.

I'm having this problem rn. I'm trying to push my killer to iri4 before reset and I was on a terrible map rotation. Farm twice in a row followed by erye of criw and then 2 more farm maps. I depipped a few time and it really sucked.

i will be honest, i never get stressed on survivor, i played against a starstruck nurse in RPD and got out simply because i played smart , it wasn't stressful tho
killer....you play pig its like u are running everywhere, gotta chase, no pressure gens, no deal with boon, god pallet, lithe, no that map too big gotta tryhard you just get stressed just from playing normally lol

Hey guys you know how this game has been dying ever since June 2016?
Is it just me or is it taking a really long time to bleed out? Maybe a hacker is holding DBD hostage and refusing to let the game end.

The Survivor ques are lightning quick because a huge chunk of the survivor player base has left since the rework patch. The camping and tunneling is the worst it has ever been as well as being the most rewarding it has ever been for a Killer to camp and tunnel. New Killer is all about camping too. I don't know what BHVR is trying to do with this game but it certainly isn't anything healthy.

As a brief aside, the Knight can't use his power to camp because the patrolling guards vanish if the unhook action is started, even if it isn't finished.
It lets the Knight player know someone's coming for a save, maybe, but the guards themselves can't defend a hook. It's actually a smoother way of handling anti-camp than just disabling the power outright imo.

They wanted killer to be the challenging role. Which is why I'm waiting for bots/TX Chainsaw. Cardiologists aren't cheap.

This! The perk isn't that great. I stopped using it even on the PTB because a lot of the time I'd get hit after storing gen progress. It's just not worth it most of the time. Seems like you are complaining just to complain (the OP).

They need to do something to completely forbid the possibility to camp and tunnel people on first hook at 5 gens. Right now the game rewards this 0 skill playstyle too much because the survivors don't have time to finish all gens if the killer does that. And let's not even talk if the tunneled or camped one suicide or DC.

The problem lies in the layers. Genrushing is not a problem on every mmr bracket. In lower-mid, gens rarely get done. Gates are rarely powered and most escapes are from hatch, killer pity, or both.
At least in my and my friends' experience.

That's really not true, I had 2 other guys I'd SWF with occasionally and they both quit after the unbalancing update in July I think it was because of how killer sided the game became and the unnecessary changes. And tbf I don't blame them but it is annoying with having to endure solo queue all the time now. Survivor queues used to be a lot longer as well before that update and also the player count charts do prove people have been quitting since that awful update, it was the beginning of a slippery slope. Ever since we've just seen survivors getting nerfed and having our perks or strategies removed :(

Killer is now easy mode, if you want 4k just play nurse and use starstruck. You don't even need to play nurse, just look at the kill rates as evidence. If you're not getting 3-4k it's a skill issue with how killer sided the game is now.

Killers always assume most teams are E-Sports teams that will make the most of the perks lol.
Gambit will be hardly seen in matches i say and like you said, P energy will backfire usually given the average survivors.

I disagree. On Halloween I dress up like Myers and stalk the trick or treaters. Some are scared others want pictures. I mixed it up this year and went as Jason. I had kids asking me why I wasn't Myers. They were disappointed.
Although they were congratulating me for winning the death match I didn't see until 2 days after Halloween.

Killer is more stressful because they get to play the whole game, survivors is more chill cause they don't really get to play when they are being camped or they get kicked out of the game and proceed to the next one. So yeah, you feel more stressed cause you are stuck longer and you never have a moment where you're doing nothing and just staring at screen.
I played the Artist and easily got a 4k lol. What is your point. Your survivor and killer MMR aren't the same and you only tracked ONE game against a starstruck Nurse that you happened to escape. Can I also play one game of Trapper and get a 4k and say "Wow, see? he's ok. It's killers who are bad at him if I a survivor main can 4k". Get real please you can do better than those posts.

The effort and luck you need to 4k is disproportionately greater than the effort and luck needed for survivors to get a 4-man out.

Right? There's lots of people who don't know about this game, but there's many more have heard of it/played it, especially because of the gold mine of licensed playable characters. 100k should be easily achievable.

Again MMR does not work.
MMR bottoms at 0.
Everyone starts at 800.
MMR caps at 3000.
Anyone over 1600 MMR all play in the same pool so between 1600 - 3000 you're all in the same queue to play, stop acting like you're some god tier killer because MMR means nothing in this game.

The only problem I had with those stats is that we can't see the whole picture, because we get a very limited view. With such limited information, we're all interpreting the statistics differently and arguing different things. The fact that we can't ever reach a conclusion on those arguments means that we will never recognize the elephant in the room, that the stats tell us nothing useful.
As an example, we can't tell how much of the kill rate increase is due to disabling certain survivor perks after gens are powered, and how much of the kill rate is due to basekit changes. I'm leaning toward the former for the greatest proportion, but won't say the basekit changes didn't help.
*as a side note, I'm more or less talking about the statistics specifically, and not trying to defend OPs perspective. Not sure I agree with it.

i mean even if bhvr is "killing the game" like you say it is, a game is meant to just be a game. idk if my mood towards all these things is different from others, but i typically just try to make a game out of the stuff by making it as hard as possible for myself, or maybe keeping count of things.
then again, i play dbd to pass the time, not necessarily be competitive. :thinking:

The problem is theyre making the top tier perks basekit, letting survivors bring full previously meme builds to genrush / heal so fast killers cant keep up and still have the best basekit perks.
How is corrupt not basekit.
Healing is so fast its killed hit and run, so why wouldnt you tunnel?
