Is it considered working with the killer if
You point out the useless teammate that hid all match. I hesitate to do this but I want to as a survivor, but I also feel a bit guilty for the survivor that does this for me as killer because im thinking they can get banned for it. Just wondering if this is bankable as "working with the killer"
This is instances of a survivor that hides in lockers and doesn't touch gens all match. Dooming the team to what could have been a winnable match not someone who just was never caught.
I personally think it shouldnt be bannable since that survivor is refusing to participate in normal gameplay.

Yes, you are selling one of your teammates, Even if he deserves it.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. But they do make a smile.

the other didnt care at all for the rest all match so its fine. its karma.

It's only a crime if you get caught.
Otherwise, deliver justice.

I never understood why ppl play like that. Too scared to do anything. Why even play? When I was new, I didn’t do that. I participated. My biggest offense was hiding to avoid barbecue, not realizing that actually hurt the team because aggro was not distributed evenly.

If you are useful you are my teammate if you are not you are the opposition.
Had a match the other day we were down to a 3v1 the meg had hook farmed me earlier in the match and i was on 2nd hook in the basement, she came and unhooked me, killers terror radius was in range and as I was about to run up the stairs she jumped in a locker (she had not been hooked yet in the match), so I stayed with her to get healed up this time, and followed her when she moved to another locker and obviously the killer downed and hooked both of us, me dying and then getting to watch her die while my remaining teamate got hatch was super satisfying.
I never actually pointed them out but when the killer saw me just standing in front of a locker when they downed me they put 2 and 2 together.
In my mind there is working with the killer and then there is working against a teammate that has already betrayed you and shown that they arent really your teammate.

There is a difference between hiding to avoid being found by the killer and hiding all game long and actually doing nothing/not contributing.
i feel like people complaining about the latter are exaggerating as those survs that actually do nothing are very rare..

I'd submit the guy not doing anything at all is actually working for the killer without his consent.
When this happens and I'm the killer, the traitor gets the hook, the other gets the hatch. When I play survivor, useless teammates are ruining the match more than a camping Bubba.

Yes, it is bannable.
Anyway, i wont belive what other survivors think because they didnt see you. I had games where i was accused for hidding all game when i did 3 gens alone, but never got hooked because i juked the killer 3 times in a chase and he lost me.
Also i had games where people blamed me for not working on gens while i had run the killer for 4 gens...
A lot of survivors dont have any clue whats going on with their teammates (thats why i run bound in almost every build)

I mean, hiding because BBQ doesn't hurt your team, the killer will not receive any information of the perk... the perk value resides in knowing where to go next and actually saves a lot of time, so hide and the killer will need to patrol every gen.

Hiding, though frustrating and cowardly is a legitimate tactic. Pointing your team mate out to the killer however is not. Kinda sucks but hey the killer will certainly thank you. Someone did this for me while I was playing demo, I decided to let them go since they fed me lol.

I've had games like that as well. This is about people who are hiding to get hatch or try for the door way to early. Just watching the team die

This isnt hidding from bbq. Its hidding watching your whole team die and doing nothing waiting for hatch or the door.

Hiding from the killer is not what I'm talking about though.

I mean, to each their own... even in DBD steam page talks about "betraying" your teammates... in the end, everyone is for themselves. If you go with that logic then a Dwight should search for the NOED totem or attempt a rescue instead of t-bagging at the exit gates.

who is betraying who? the one who hides all match or the one who points them out?

Whether or not they deserve it it is working with the killer. While it's DEFINITELY frustrating and makes you want to rat out the other player, depending on how it's done it can backfire on the one that's the tattle tail. If they report you and send down video to support it's going to only be their POV of you working with the killer not your POV of them just hiding.

yeah I figured as much just wanted to see if anyone would confirm my suspicions.

Is it not? Seems to be.
