Should I continue playing freddy?
I enjoy playing freddy even though he is pretty weak but I start to feel bad when the survivors start telling me that "boring killer" or it had ruined their night. I am unsure now if I should even continue playing freddy but I wish to now ask at least some of you. Should I still play freddy?

You're entitled to play what you enjoy playing. They're entitled to their opinions, but likewise, you also purchased this game and Freddy as a killer, so if you enjoy playing him and you stick to the game rules, carry on as you are.
If we all had to stop doing what people considered 'boring', we wouldn't be able to play the game at all.

Don’t let anyone tell you you ruined their night just because you play a specific killer. You have bought the killer with money and he is part of the game, end of it. If there was an actual problem with him the devs would killswitch him, but there isn’t.

Honestly I don't know how you're mentally able to play freddy for more than 1 game. But if you like him keep playing him

Why not? Because he is the weakest killer in the game and barely playable in higher skilled games? I understand this, but I cannot quit Freddy, even if he has terrible Addons and is the purest M1-Killer.
I just wish to see some QoL and Addon-Pass soon.

In Chase - definitely
But I really enjoy using Fake Teleports to block gens with Dead Mans, this is so nice if it works, BUT: Besides this tactic, I cannot see him being more than nostalgia-feeling, even if he is the "wrong Freddy".

Stop reading messages or if you are on console like me, disable it completely and you will never have to think about opinions on your killer or playstyle, perks etc.

His teleport mindgames are quite fun actually, the bait potential is really high. Not many killers get to teleport ahead of a survivor and get the pleasure to hit them while they're still looking behind confused, its always funny. His addons are underwhelming tho for sure and his snares could be reworked for something more spicy ye.

"Ruined their night" these people can't be serious. Freddy is fine to vs, people just love to moan, ignore them.
