If you could killswitch one perk. Which one would you choose?
Killer: For me, hands down NOED. One of the most frustrating perks in the game. Just gives subpar killers free kills at the end of the game. Hate it as survivor, and i refuse to use it as killer on principle.
I mean at least don't hide it. When last gen is done just show survs the exposed status. So they know not to go for yolo unhooks and can at least look for the totem instead of feeding the killer. The amount of games times it turns a 0 or1k game into an unwarranted 3 or 4k is stupid.
If i die to bloodwarden or no way out I can deal with that. But NOED is simply infuriating.
Survivor: no mither. I mean why is it even in the game? It is just actively useless. Should give a huge bp bonus and silence pain grunts totally. Even then it'd still be pretty garbage.

Survivors: Circle of Healing. I hate that perk with a passion.
Killer: Probably Starstruck. I absolutely abhor this perk. No, I don't mean Starstruck Nurse. I have been on both sides of it on Spirit, Slinger, and Wesker. This perk is absolutely disgusting.

Boil Over. It's not that it's consistently useful even most of the time, but oh boy when somebody I swing five feet to the left and get caught on some geometry and have to figure out my new terrible controls I want to throw my computer out a window. And like, 90% of the time I still make it to the hook, even if it's one further away than the one it turns out is right in front of me, but it just makes me so mad for like no good reason.
I develop a personal vendetta against you if you run Boil Over. How dare you mildly inconvenience me.

Yh circle of healing is a funny one. I don't mind it too much personally. I think it gives low and mid mmr players a fighting chance which they sorely need. But with a co ordinated sweaty swf it can feel very OP. personally once I figure where the boon is I sometimes use it as bait after injuring players. Because you know exactly where they'll head.

Killer: Franklin's Demise. Lemme use my yellow medkit!
Survivor: Head On. I get it's fun leading the Killer into it and has it clutch uses, but getting hit by a Head On setup 45 seconds into a game by a SWF just instantly kills my morale.

Its still DH. Even though its much fairer, its again on top of the most played exhaustion perk list by a far margin and AGAIN you have to take it into account in any chase with a survivor who wasn't revealed to you their exhaustion perk. It is baited out much easier then the old version, but there are still a lot of basically lose/lose situations for the killer and I just dislike the fact that you should second guess "can I swing? should I? Should I wait?".
On the killer side there is no such singular offender. Eruption right now is quite overtuned with the long incapacitation, but not that much out of tune that I would killswitch it. Maybe Insidious? That park is just outright bad and the only one who can reliable use it is Bubba facecamping around a corner. I posted my ideas for a much better Insidious a couple of times on the forums and I will leave it at that.

Survivor: Any perk that offers a third health state especially Dead Hard.
Killer: hmm this one's tough, its killer powers that usually are a pain but maybe lethal pursuer, as a killer main that perk is an auto pick almost every time.

I can tell you about the game without Eruption...
Survivors will complete every Gen and escape while T-Bagging with not so nice messages in End game chat
With all of the changes made to the regression perks none was for the base game... other then to 10 extra charges per Gen
Killers will be running Pop instead of Eruption
And the forums will be filled with the next "big" topic... Call Of Brine or Overcharge
But let's see.... I wouldn't Killswitch any perk... they all work (some better then others)... none of them are gamebreakingly bugged

every game now i have to deal with survs who got 3 health states at least once in the trial. After that i can sometimes dodge it and sometimes its super sketchy.

So I have some gripes about this comment. While you are not wrong with some general notions, the ones that you can only gain a foothold in higher level plays if you use Eruption is just wrong. If you were right it would mean that a high MMR win would be impossible without Eruption, and that's bogus.
Mind you, high level wins aren't handed to you in any way, but you can win in many ways and the majority of those doesn't need Eruption.

Deadman's switch. It's not powerful but it's soooooooo annoying.

Franklins. Lightborn is fair and considerably more powerful imo. But being able to make people drop their items that they paid for because of 1 hit isn't fair. Like even a white ward doesn't protect our item so if we spend 10,000 bp on a white ward and a purp medkit we lose it after 1 hit.

If you ever dare to try to have fun with a killer with a lackluster or no chase power... Dead Hard is just all kinds of stupid. Oh you got out played? Just kidding no you didn't because you have a button that I didn't or couldn't play around and the chase is now 50% longer than it should have been.

Just curious how the game would be without it. Like I constantly use it myself and I still see it used so much that killers dont really lunge which is kinda odd...
I dunno be interesting to see how itd play out with killers always lunging and not having to ride a survivors behind lol
