Demogorgan + STBFL

Demogorgan smacking me on the hook with 8 stacks of STBFL causes some very loud noises. I had to give up on hook because of how loud it is. Either turn it down 15-20% or stop letting killers hit players on hook with STBFL

... You want to nerf a perk because you couldn't be bothered to turn your headphone volume down a bit?

My headphones don't come with an adjust volume button, and I can't exactly tab out of the game while on second hook or go into options.

You can just lower your volume for the moment... it takes 2 seconds. Don't be a baby.

Edit: If you can't alt-tab, set up a macro for it, so it lowers game sound output by x% on a press of button of your choice.

No, they're right in saying it's somewhat of a struggle if they don't have a adjust volume button.

    However...

Perhaps you could try lowering the master volume in-game for a bit?

    1. Phenomenal sound generated by demogorgon

    2. Remove hit detection from the survivor on the hook.

    3.Nerf STBFL

    I would choose 1. or 2.

If you choose 3. the demogorgon is still too loud (the volume is the same for STBFL 0 stack and 8 stacks).

@AMOGUS Your logic is very weird here. Just because my mouse is bad, laggy and can't detect up and down motions it doesn't mean autoaim should be back. It means I should buy a new mouse.

I also have never in my life seen headset without scroll to change volumes... even the ones that costed me literally 2$ had these!

Also he has a way of working around it with macros. There is really no need to change the game, because one person is lazy and has bad equipment. I would rather see devs work on maps more than bs like this.

Your comment made me laugh so hard; it was as if I could hear you asking that question with the most jaded look in the world, in the American Series mode, with pre-recorded laughter in the background 🤣😂🤣

    So, buy better material ?

I can't wait to read the next topic:

"I request that lockers make a meowing kitten sound when opened, as I was traumatized in my youth by a locker."

"I ask that the dead pigs on Coldwin Farm be replaced with Christmas trees because I am a vegetarian."

"I ask that the game has no sound, because I don't own headphones, and I listen to the sound of my PC on speakers, it bothers my family."

"I ask that Lery be removed because I have a phobia of hospitals and enclosed spaces."

"I ask that the killers' weapons be replaced by teddy bears because I can't stand violence."

If youre on Console, there is normally a quick menu for Xbox and PS that lets you reduce headset volume if bound to the quick menu.

If youre on PC, there are normally inputs you can put in to mute all audio or reduce all audio that dont require Alt+Tab'ing out of the game. For my PC it is FN+F1 to mute audio. You can also set macros to do this stuff, and it should be fine to do since it's affecting your PC and not the game itself.

I think suggesting to nerf STBFL while the problem is sound related is quite out of place. I don't see how it'd fix anything.

If we're talking more rationally, because what you said IS a problem that needs to be fixed, I believe a better option would be to suggest behavior that a pig nerf might be the best option there.

So are you unable to just put the headphones away? You don't really need the hearing anyway while you're hooked... I mean sure you can turn down volume and other stuff... But if you seriously did not just remove the headphone from your head but gave up on hook I have serious doubts about your ability to survive XD Like are the headphones glued to your head or what XD This is like the worst complain I've ever read... xD

This has to be a meme.. There is no way someone can seriously think this is an issue XD

This is a good point, you should simply take your headphones off. Thanks for this.

And sadly, knowing these forums, someone would indeed ask for a entire perk nerf unironically just because of issues like this.
