Boil over
This perk is a Problem. I Play both Sides solo and i dont Like this perk. This perk can bei overpowerd in Indoor Maps, Like the school and in Open Maps it is Most time useless. But The real Problem is everytime anyone use the strong Side of the perk, Play in swf. I have 5 Games vs a 4 man swf and everyone have this perk And Tools to Sabotage. so i can't hook one of them.yes i can Play anti perks vs this but i will Not Play every time the Same perks to Not struggle With it. So please Change the perk in a healthy way.

bleed em out.

Nope that didn't Work everytime And No one will this, i become less Points and slugging is for the Player lame. They Can change the perk. The perk is the core Problem.

It's just a poorly designed perk. Either it is game breaking, depriving the Killer of their main objective consistently or it is borderline useless. It is mostly in the second category now, although in rare instances coordinated Sabo squads can make it a nightmare for Killers to deal with. The perk needs a total rework.
3 -
They could change it by reworking it into allowing you to choose which direction you want to wiggle in which the killer can also counter by turning themselves. Back and forth being a new way to wiggle with this perk, as well.

Isn’t this just another nerf? I guess it’s pretty well nerfed now but it just seems that this would be another nerf.

Will you explain how or be like a lot of other's have been when arguing with me online by leaving me on read? I really think it would be a cool idea to have jagged shifts in a direction the survivor picks which the killer could play around.

Because instead of disrupting the killer’s pathing they can resist your Boil Over (which currently has a chance at colliding them with environmental objects, thus allowing more time for a survivor to wiggle free) by pulling in the opposite direction.
If people ignore you here it may be because you’re perceived as obstinate or unpleasant to deal with otherwise. I don’t know you; in fact I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to you before, but when I stop responding to people those are usually my reasons.
1 -
At least you took the time to talk with me about it, which I appreciate. I feel that resisting the wiggle isn't that useful when you can surf on it instead. Also, don't killers already do that?

Yes, however that is the counterplay (along with perks like Agitation and Iron Grasp). My point was that the changes you’ve suggested for Boil Over eliminate the meager value it currently provides. Personally, I don’t see it often at all—as survivor or killer. It’s probably just too niche outside of dedicated builds (and even then, there are just better perks to run in place of it). But it seems kind of odd to nerf a perk like this again.

What I fail to see is how or why you think that giving survivors (who will still have increased wiggle intensity when having the perk equipped) the privilege to wiggle wherever direction they want to move the killer in which the killer will have to figure out to counter. Would it be a better idea to have that on top of the drop bonus wiggle we currently have?

Agitation and map knowledge is usually all you need to render boil over virtually useless. Plus Agitation is a good perk without using it to counter boil over. You can slot it into any build and you'll get value out of it every game since you will always have to spend time carrying and agi just feels nice.
Something I like to do is take note of close hooks before I pick up, so I know immediately where to go to not give them any extra time to wiggle. Thankfully a lot of the abuse spots for boil over have been made less annoying over time. Eyrie of crows has 2 hooks in main upstairs and RPD library is gone now.
I play on PC though, I heard boil over was so bad for our controller using friends it needed to be toned down. Annoying perk

It’s a perk for survivors so it should actually help them in trial, like how killer perks help killers. It doesn’t really matter because killers have perks that directly counter Boil Over, and seem to manage fine against it without using either of them. I’m quite sure Boil isn’t a game changer perk at this point. Are you personally losing to survivors running it?

I'm a little offended you think I'm commenting on this over losing to boil over. I just wanted to give a neat buff idea and it feels as if you think I want to nerf it. Is what I'm not presenting good enough to be considered a buff? :<

Currently on console it's like it was pre nerf. Not exactly sure what's happened with it, but it's pretty broken on console at the moment. I've played PC recently also and the effect on console feels like it's about 5x stronger. It will literally stop you dead in your tracks and you can't move & that's when you're in the open. If it pushes you into any environment object it will pin you in position and you can't move for 2-5 seconds.

I main killer and survivor, boil over has never been an issue for me as a killer. I just always run iron grasp, problem solved.

I Play on console and this is a Problem. but the real and hard Thing is the Kombination of the perks. You can real Max Out the perk If you Play in Team.
1 -
every time? That is realy lame. I Play so many perks, Not a Game With the Same from the Last. You can build so many Kombination. I hate the Idea of Play perks to negate Other perks.

I don’t think that, necessarily. I just asked if you personally had issues with the perk.
0 -
Aside from it being boring in its utility, not really. Just want perks to have fun stuff with them. Thought THAT would make the perk fun on both sides.

On my try hard build yeah, I run iron grasp. But I literally only run my try hard build when I suspect I'm facing a SWF group. Otherwise I'm doing silly stuff with Huntress or Wraith

The purpose of the perk is to waste time with transportation, but it's inconsistent — either it does nothing or does too much.
Therefore, it should just apply blindness to the killer when transporting survivors. Wouldn't be oppressive because all they have to do is use their eyes or glance at a hook location beforehand.
Boil Over
While the killer is carrying you, they suffer from the blindness status effect, which lingers for an additional 10/15/20 seconds after they stop carrying you.
0 -
Wouldn't that take away from what the perk name means? Like the survivor struggles with all their might.
0 -
That's where blindness comes from.
The killer is having to put extra focus onto the survivor due to their fighting spirit, consequently causing them to not pay attention to their surroundings.

No Not If the Team mates Sabo all hooks you have
0 -
Huh... fair.
0 -
Drop the survivor, you have two survivors not doing generators and potentially a third because someone has to save the slug.
You have 75% of the team doing nothing to progress the game, at most. 50% you know for sure is doing nothing to progress the game.
0 -
You can make this every Game. But the Problem is you are Not only blind. On console this perk is so evil you Stuck on everything and the Team Sabo all. Yes they make No Progress but this Play Style is toxic. When the next Update came you can't slug all.everyone has in basekit to Stand Up With Out Help. At this Point No one Go to Help they make Gen. If you let him Fall one is in Chase (the Sabo) and he Stand Up alone, the Other two make Gens.
0 -
With the new Update that is more a Problem. All can Stand Up alone. This strat dont work so.

Sabotaging hooks is not toxic, it's a game mechanic survivors have available to use. Additionally, the devs haven't said anything about making UB basekit in the future (unless I missed something). The PTB was just to gather feedback, so until an official statement comes out, we shouldn't include basekit UB in our variables.
I don't mean to be rude or anything, but a lot of what you said is incorrect / misleading. Especially the use of "toxic".

First:
The only Thing that is toxic is the swf Sabo Squad, Not the perk alone.
Second:
Ub basekit is a Thing that will came over the time. I Understand IT came bevor the new mori Mechanik.
Third. The perk is Most time useless for a Solo. The only reason they Play IT IS for sabo Squad so they Can Chance the perk in a healthy way. Idont want more.

Would ok if it made pc users struggle not just console.

I am playing on pc so I can't speak for console. But as survivor I never bring the perk, because it brings almost 0 value against skilled killer. The perk has too many counters and literally every other sabo perk brings more value then this one.
As killer, I face it now and again. I remember just one instance (and it was random shift to side 2x in a row which made me drop the survivor), when it gave survivors any value. Considering I faced it 100+ times, the perk is really trash tear. I would understand more if you called for nerfing flip-flop, power struggle, unbreakable, saboteur, breakout or even breakdown, leader, DH and MoM (all of them average perks at best not counting UB and DH), because all of them give much more value in sabo build then boil over.
Maybe remember you can drop survivor from height into stagger if boil over could ever bring some value against you
