Gotta love doing the only viable option and getting crap for it

Forced a tunneling Wesker trying to slug for the 4k to hook the other survivor after being unable to find me for like 5 minutes. I run wake up and sole survivor so despite the gates closeness (midwich) and his leap, i was able to escape.
Proceeded to give me crap because I didn't step out into the open and scream "Here I am! Come kill me!" He even tried to blame me for the teams death (Don't give a crap either way, I made it out.) despite him literally only focusing on one survivor at a time.
Some people man.

You also made the other Survivor wait five minutes, so...

Blame the survivor for that one. Wesker initially camped him, then eventually picked him up before bleeding out and just let wesker walk around with him.

You are lucky he didn't just rat you out. That's what normally happens to me in that situation.
In 6 years of playing I have still never worked with the killer to go rat out the last survivor yet it happens to me 24/7 feels like. Makes me babyrage and go play killer myself
Especially if it was a match were the killer had to leave chases with me all the time because I was a better player than them; but MMR delivered amazing teammates who still rolled over and died trivially and there's nothing I can do in the 2v1

Wesker also made the survivor wait 5 mins. Why couldn't he put him out of his misery?

i start recording if it comes to such a situation, because ratting the last survivor out is working with the killer and a bannable offence.

I love when the killer tries to work with me to get the last guy. I've only had it happen twice that I can recall and had a blast both times.
One time with a swf buddy so we were able to keep him busy for like 10 minutes while I led him around to the wrong places, hopping in lockers and just acting confused when I couldn't find him. When my buddy was on the opposite side he'd make a noise notification and hide and the killer would swing at me to follow and we'd check an area he wasn't in anymore and I'd point somewhere else, it was great.
Another when I was solo and just kept going to wrong spot and pointing at lockers and the killer would check and shake their head. They only put up with it for a few minutes but it was still hilarious.
Never got why the last survivor rats out the other like that. It's not like the killer will just let them go, most of the time they end up dead as well.

"This way the game will actually end"

Love those guys. One time we got Oni who didn't even pretend to leave me on the ground. He just stood onto my body with his power ready while my friend was hiding on the other side of the map. After I bled out and my friend escaped, Oni was claiming my friend rat who let teammate die... Yeah. It's not like I begged her not to come because you were there.
It's unfortunate tbh. I make sure to crawl away from the last guy. It's kinda shame if someone plays hatch game and therefore leaves me on my first hook even if killer doesn't camp... Still understandable tho, in 2v1 there's no room to play this out anyway. And in case of slugging for 4k... no assist for killer from me, lol. Never.

I don't think "Because I wanted the game to end" is good enough of a reason to sell out a teammate via working with the killer. But fair enough, I suppose that is a reason all the same, as ######### as may be.

I had a similar game where it was me a Cheryl left, random. And Nurse was right on top of her. Cheryl was trying to get to me (idk if she was working with the killer or newer and just wanted help) and Nurse would follow her. i tried to work on gens instead and at some point I even got her up but she went down and hatch spawned right behind me. That felt really awesome.

Why does that matter? I'm not going to throw my life on the line.
Would you leave the hook when the gates are opened? No. I'm camping the entire EGC, but I will take trades — either way I secure a kill.

tbf it's the only active choice a survivor has in that situation: DC to force hatch (bad), help Killer if they're obviously out for the 4k, or wait.
The game getting forced into five minutes of nothing is... not great for anyone.

Again, that's not the player's fault. That's just bad game design.
Can't blame people for wanting to win.

you also can't really blame the person who wants to do anything else at this point, either

Walk up to the killer, point at a hook. If they don't listen, repair a generator so they have to give you lethal attention. Gets you out the game and can play something better.
However, working with the killer is punishable I believe.
