Played the Knight for a total of 26h + PTB and...

The knight is a killer who has quite a peculiar power.

Without wasting any more time, I will list the pros and cons of this killer:

Plus points:

- Create a 2 killer vs 1 surv situation in certain loops;

- Guards distract more inexperienced survivors from the killer himself who can catch them off guard more easily;

- He can break pallets from a distance and the same goes with gens, you can use guards like The assassin and The Jaler to kick a generator slower in order to take time and be able to put pressure coming with the killer himself;

- Great hook camper.

Minus points:

- Poor control map;

- Sometimes using the power during the chase could be unfavorable as the survivors will tend to change loops very quickly, so using the power in each loop could even extend the chase by several minutes;

- The guards, before starting the actual chase, go in the direction the surv was detected instead of following it directly, this way the surv can run in the opposite direction and create a gigantic distance between him and the guard, of course even compared to the killer;

- The guards vanish too quickly and are very slow, I'm not saying to buff both of these aspects, but at least one of them slightly, like the speed for example, 105% I think could be fine;

Survivors can see the circle that triggers the guards, so they can easily avoid it.

Final Thoughts:

You will often find yourself using the power with poor results, against capable survivors it will be a W simulator, ending up wasting a lot of time and many many generators.

In a normal game you will quickly find yourself in the end game, reducing yourself to constantly summoning the guards around the camped survivor.

PS: Guards should die around the hooked survivor.

    At least invest in other games my guy. You don't need to play Knight 26h to figure him out

    I played him quite a bit during PTB and again after release. I also played against him in both the PTB and after release. In the PTB he was a joke. Like you were better off just not even bothering with his power.

    From a survivor perspective, every game felt like a free win. It was fun dunking on him. I will say though, after release with the increased speed of the guard chase starting, he felt less like a joke. You can still escape by holding W, but the guard gets pretty close. If you were slow to start holding W, you’d probably take a hit.

    Playing as the Knight is pretty bad even after the small buff. He does well in corners or edges of the map where you can force a down. But anywhere else you’re better off not using his power.

    I had success with Bloodwarden paired with the add-on that blocks the exit gates. You can hold the game “somewhat hostage” until the endgame collapse timer completes and all the remaining survivors die. It‘s easier to do if you just follow one guy and trigger a guard chase every time he gets near an exit gate. The other survivors will usually be kind enough to wait around for you to activate blood warden. Just don’t bring any other end game stuff or they will leave immediately. NOED scares survivors out of the game. It’s better if they feel safe.

    But it’s sad that you have to use an ultra rare addon to get a normal game with the Knight.
