The new map is why Nurse should exist
The new map is filled with pallets that are 5 feet apart from each other. And have little to no mind game involved. It's ridiculous. M1 killers don't stand a chance against survivors that know how to loop. But i'm sure the 0.2% faster pallet breaking buff must help right? As long as bad map design like this exists, so should Nurse.

I don't think one terrible aspect of game should be fixed by having another terrible aspect in the game, to counterbalance the first terrible aspect.
Maps like these are no reason for a killer like Nurse to exist if you ask me. There are still more than enough other maps where she is just broken. And she is surely broken on this map as well. These horrible maps should just be fixed, though I have low hopes of that, seein as we are conitnuing to get more of these crappy maps. It's honestly just sad that the new maps seem to just be getting worse and worse.

Bad map design isn’t an excuse to keep an overpowered killer as is. They need to fix those maps.
That said, I’m hoping the pallet spawns on that map are bugged because there seems to be way too many.

I am getting surprise stunned by pallets as killer ngl lol. So hard to see. I use windows of opportunity as survivor so not having problems there.

I agree. If they rework the unfair maps and reduce the number of god pallets, then Nurse should be reworked too. But first fix bad map design.

It's crazy that it's so badly designed that both survivors and killers are thinking it's bugged. I don't think so though, i genuinely believe the devs intended it to be this way.

thats just 5 maps out of like 35. plus the new map allegedly has bugged pallet spawns so its probably not even going on that list

Only Midwich and some variations of Autohaven Wreckers are the fair maps in the game. Rest are all connected jungle gyms into other pallets into shack etc. Also, we can't just assume that the new map is bugged, it's probably intended.

On the PTB the map had far more spread out pallets. They didn't mention anything about it on the patchnotes so theres an 80% chance of it being a bug (don't ask me where i got that number from)

Okay it is a confirmed bug now (a mod confirmed). Too many pallets are getting generated. But they've yet to make a proper post about it or killswitch it.

They're not going to killswitch it. It's still playable, just annoying as hell and unfair for killer players. I'm just playing survivor until the increased rate it's selected goes away

But the map has large spaces that don't break line of sight so Nurse is strong there anyways.

midwitch is fair? xD . Ok. I see what's going on. Being locked in a room 16x16m with only hooks and gens would be slightly killer sided map but not really in your eyes xDDDD

Maybe do what people always advocate for survivors? Close the gap between killer tiers by buffing the weaker ones? The community is so survivor biased lol.

BHVR has already said that the pallet spawn on the new map is bugged and it shouldn't spawn as many pallets as it is. They've reduced the chance of that map in rotation by a lot until they can patch it in the next week.
So I guess by your argument we should expect 'bug fixes' to nurse as well. I look forward to that.

Ironically, the fact that nurse can still curb stomp on a map that is bugged to spawn every single pallet possible is just further proof that nurse is broken.

I think Nurse should be looked at first, arguably. She should at least be nerfed in the same patch in which we get our first good balance changes to problematic maps.
But then again, BHVR's map designers just created this new mess of a map, so it doesn't seem like they have learned a thing about map balance in these last years, so I am not very hopeful in general.
