Knight is in good state

Its funny how everyone cries how The knight is boring to play against..... and then we look at hag XD

Its funny how everyone cries how The knight is bad..... and then we look at the clown

I played matches as him and i enjoyed them fully. Of course i lost some matches but all of them felt refreshing and i had fun. (played without addons and only pain res to have a little slow down)

For now no one likes to play against him cuz he is new, u wont be able to find all counters to certain killer in 1 or 2 matches and thats normal.

i somehow agree with changes that otzdarva sugested, here is link (im too lazy to write it here)

I would agree to the counter part, if the killer was somewhat complex... But he is not... Many people came to the same conclusion, that the most reasonable/effective way to play him is to just drop a guard at loop and then sandwich the survivor... If you can reach another tile (since you obviously cannot loop the current one) then you can delay the hit, otherwise you just get hit... And it goes like that on every single tile... How can you call this kind of gameplay good? At least against hag a well coordinated team can constantly harass her and remove her traps... What can you do about this guy? I mean yeah another survivor can take aggro of the guard so the other one does not get hit... But then again this guy who now has the guard on him will either reach a tile or get hit by the guard or the killer... It just does not enable interactive gameplay... And I cannot imagine how there could be with his general design... Besides the assassin they are too slow to ever catch up, their patrol time is ridiculously low and so on... What else can you do but play him in the artist way?

liek u said teamm8s can take guards on themselves. Chased survivour can still loop that tile then. when i was playing him some survivours done that and its a matter of time when someone will be able to do that more frequently. i needed to drop unhealthy guy and start chase with the healthy one with guard? sometimes u need to get fast down and others can do the same like guarded surv did. its not as useless as u think

Patrolling feels bad right now but i used jailer or others to secure 1 way from which survivours can come while defending other side by myself. I used this tactic on Badham and RPD (i still need more practice to do that more effectively)

"it's funny how people say this thing is bad but THIS thing exists" is not a good argument to make. both things can be terrible and they are, just because you enjoy holding W against this killer doesn't mean other players do lol

What-About-ism is not a valid critique.

It is entirely possible for multiple things to be bad. It does not excuse the recent thing from being bad just because another thing is also rotten.

I will say, it's appropriate you referenced Clown. if you're wondering why they thought it was fine to release Knight as-is, just look at what they did for Clown, one of the weakest killers in the game. He had a laundry list of problems and their big fix was: put in an alternate bottle type that still uses your existing, too-small bottle pool, takes an unreasonable amount of time to trigger, and ALSO benefits survivors (both with the speed boost and negating the slow down of the purple cloud).

Like, this "we don't know what we're doing and are aggressively ignoring the obvious fixes that everyone is shouting at us" has always been the standard operating procedure.

But what when nobody takes the guard? What is the appropriate play for the survivor then? Generally speaking you should have some sort of chase interaction that does not rely on your teammates taking aggro... Because otherwise there is just no proper chase interaction if it is just either someone helps you or you get hit basically all the time.

how is it killer's problem that the game is getting balanced for survivor to 1vs1 the killer?

The game was always about the 1v1 chase interaction... What do you even mean by that? At least against dredge or Artist you can try to back before you reach the critical point and make them use their teleport/bird preemtively to miss... Even though I wouldn't consider that significant enough it is still more than you can do against the knight...

There should not be a single killer in the game where you need the help of another survivor in chase to do something significant against them...
