I'd love Chris/Sheva to be actual characters
I'd like to make their appearance bloodied through prestigeing. Adding them in the game regardless was brilliant!

I vote neither.
The game now has Jill, Leon, Chris, Sheva, Rebecca, and Ada. That is SIX Survivors from ONE franchise.
We don't have a single Survivor from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. I mean, where is Sally Hardesty?

They could just release multiple skins for the same legendary characters. I don't understand why Felix gets Chris's RE5 skin but actual Chris doesn't.

I am not that sure for Shiva but I think Chris and Claire should have been characters even more than Rebecca.
Shiva is more like...a companion in RE5.

As long as survivors continue to get 3 teachable perks each, I cannot support or advocate for more survivors. There are far too many perks in the game already and it is clear they are running out of perk ideas. Having 18 perks tied to RE is too many already.
If all the Resident Evil survivors had one perk each I'd be all for all of them being separate survivors.

Chris and Sheva
I personally would prefer to have them as characters rather than skins but it’s not a priority for me.
The priority though should be a Chris rework (the others are great imo) to make his face less (gaunt?) and shoulders less slouchy. He’s a Boulder punching machine so why does Felix look better than Chris while wearing a Chris skin haha and Carlos looking infinitely more fit? Makes no sense.
RE fans more likely to try out the game and buy chapters/skins if the characters are represented well.
